Liked: The staffs in this hostel are so great and are the most friendly that i've ever met!! location is good too~just 5 mins from the Interlaken West station. there is also a restraunt belongs to the hostel which is excellent too~~~~I love this hostel!

Disliked: nothing that i dislike.

Liked: Central location

Disliked: Very noisy, Very tiny dorm rooms - 6 beds no where to put luggage, so had to climb all over it to get in and out of room.

Disliked: The room is very small and there's no locker for me to put my valuable things away.

Liked: The place is in great location to the railway Station. just 5 mins walk from Interlaken West st. Friendly staffs, Clean room and bathrooms.. Lively restaurant and bar in the hostel. Value for the money !! :)

Disliked: WIFI is free but we have to pay to use internet in the Hostel computers.

Liked: The room was nice, if a little small. Bar was also good, and a nice place to sit out during the day, the staff were always really nice. The location is great, really close to the train station and centre.

Disliked: "Self Catering Facilities" meant a microwave... The internet was stupidly expensive.

Liked: Location, breakfast.

Disliked: The room was really really really hot, maybe because it was just on top of the kitchen from the bar. The "guests kitchen" (if you dare to call it a kitchen) had no pans, cuttlery, cups, etc. Really a shame, what is the cost of buying some basic kitchen stuff?

Liked: I along with my wife stayed there for 3 days/ nights. Location is perfect. Staff is friendly.

Disliked: Bathroom was shared. At least for the family room it should be in the room.

Disliked: the property is made of wood and hence not sound proof at all. my friends and i can hear every word and walking steps of other lodgers from the room beside us and the room upstairs! not recommended for those who wanted to lay in till 9am as by 6ish, you hear voices and foot steps. would have appreciated if the staff more stern on discipline of all travellers

Liked: Super nice staff, nice bar and brasserie downstairs, free wifi, nice and clean, interlaken is a small place, so location is probably not much of an issue, but in interlaken west and a 5 minute walk from the train. We had a private room so can't comment on the shared facilities, but seemed clean.

Disliked: Not really a dislike, but ask for a room without a window over the outside part of the bar.

Liked: Location

Disliked: Creaky floors, one sarcastic, unfriendly staff, flies in the kitchen/lounge, only microwave available for cooking, only one microwavable bowl available for use, any additional has to be borrowed personally from the chef when he is free, corridor light to the corner room not working so the lock on the door cannot be seen properly, beds not very comfortable but passable.

Disliked: no night life, hard to meet other travelers. one of the showers did not drain properly and the other shower had no curtains and people on the street below could see you...

Liked: Rooms were clean.

Disliked: Bathrooms have a leaking shower problem and caused on bathroom to have water all over the floor ALL the time. I have stayed here twice within 5 months and the bathroom issue is still occuring. Gross. Since this is one of the cheapest accomodations in town, you get a lot of younger crowd who likes to party into the wee hours of the morning. Not the fault of the hostel, that is just how it is.

Liked: We got our own room, and the bed was divine: so comfortable with a great duvet. Got some great nights' sleep. There was a sink in the room, which was nice. They had tons of information about activities to do in Interlaken, very helpful.

Disliked: The kitchen facilities were kind of sad. No stovetop, very few dishes. (But they had two microwaves.) Plus, the kitchen was not a nice place to sit and eat. The internet was outrageously expensive (I believe there was free wifi), but that seemed to be the norm for Interlaken. The shower temperature fluctuated quite a bit.

Liked: The hostel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They also help in planning your excursions. The location was good. Around 10 mins. walk from the station.

Disliked: Shower floors are soaked in water very hard to get dressed in.
