Liked: Very clean and kindly staffs. Breakfast also good. Tow kind of cereal, milk, bread, orange juice and yogurt. I think backpackers is the best hostel in interlaken.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Love the tokens they give you for each night of stay great idea. Awesome that they have a hot drinks machine available 24/7! Dryer is free too which is great!

Disliked: double priv room a fraction small when trying to fit backpacks in too but only minor issue everything else is awesome - best shower & comfy beds too!!!

Liked: Best hostel I've been in. Great location, excellent price, and various conveniences thrown in it's all good. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Disliked: The breakfast spread suited me fine - I'm perfectly happy with a good cereal or museli and yoghurt, but it misses a couple of things I've seen in other places like savoury options of meat and cheese. So if you're like me you'll be sweet, otherwise maybe visit a bakery, or just drink a cup of concrete and you'll be fine. Also, I stayed in the old timber chalet (but tastefully renovated and quite modern inside) part of the hostel - there is a new modern wing too. The old part comes with timber floors that flex when someone walks around in your room, so your bed gets shaken and light sleepers like me don't like that. A small annoyance really 'cos the room was otherwise excellent, with a balcony and awesome views.

Liked: Especially that we were put to a dormitory with the people who were same kind of persons as us, so it was quite easy to live in a small room together. The house was cute and cosy. And I could SLEEP in the nights! :)

Disliked: Some problems using the house computers for internet.

Liked: The staff were super-helpful! Right from ensuring a smooth check-in, even though it I checked in really late, to going beyond their call by helping travellers with even the smallest thing, this hostel is awesome!

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: By far the best hostel I stayed in during my trip. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities and extras included in the price. Great breakfast! Definitely recommend.

Liked: The staff is very friendly. Location is very convenient, reachable from both stations in interlaken. Breakfast was very nice. Kitchen facility is amazing. I recommend this to all the young travellers.

Liked: Receptionists were all very helpful. We even made a nice impromptu hiking trip based on their recommendation. Breakfast could use a bit more variety but overall experience, Great! It's like waking up to an Ikea showroom every morning. Would definitely return here again.

Liked: Absolutely brilliant!! Staff were incredibly helpful - booked things for us, gave recommendations, helped us make fondue!! The communal areas are amazing - with views of the alps & hotel-quality decor. And Interlaken is the perfect spot for a whole range of amazing experiences!

Liked: Excellent hostel, friendly staff, all the services you would need. May seem a bit pricey but it includes free breakfast and you get free tokens which can be used for washing, internet or coffee. Would defintely recommend

Liked: Everything! The best of the best, not only compared to other hostel across the continent, but the service impressed me more than any 5 star hotel ever do. One of the staff, Barbara, was head to heels on helping me checking out at that dawn, and -in doing so- she was making sure that I'm not going empty handed. She was persistant on making me a good coffee to go, to warm me out while I run for the train I'm trying to catch. How great is that!

Disliked: NOTHING. Impecable cleanliness, perfectly organized, heartfull service, etc etc. Definately nominating this hostel as the best of the best.

Liked: I like everything on this hostel, one of the best I have ever been.

Disliked: Too much asiatics, they think that they can do everything they want. Not all of them, but lots.

Liked: The breakfast provided was good (although the selection was very limited). The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Disliked: The only negative was that the hostel is big, so large groups go through, which takes a bit away from the atmosphere for solo travelers.

Liked: Would thoroughly recommend this hostel to anyone. Modern, very clean and spacious within 10-15min walk to East station and 5-10mins walk into town. Room and WC are very clean and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even has fully equipped self-catering kitchen to help you save cost in expensive Switzerland. Free parking with lots of space.

Disliked: None, would recommend this hostel thoroughly.

Liked: It had a free breakfast, which was a really good breakfast. The staff were friendly, the tokens which they give you give you free hot drinks and/or internet and so is really convenient since most other hostels in switzerland only have free wifi. There weren't so many showers, but they were kept clean. And you get a locker to keep all your stuff which is good as well. There is also an amazing view of the mountains from the rooms. There are two kitchens and both are really well stocked so you don't really have to wait to cook your food.

Disliked: The rooms get a bit stuffy at night, and it's too cold to keep the window open.

Liked: One of the poshest hostel i have ever seen. Nice atmosphere, where you see family and everyone about. Excellent kitchen and washing facilities. The rooms are new. Free internet wifi. Excellent facilities like kitchen, washing and storage. Its very quite!

Disliked: Its too expensive. Maybe i should pay about 20% more for a hotel, if you are travelling with a partner. However price is ok if u are travelling in a group of 4 or individual. price is the same for 2 and 4 apparently. Certain staff are friendly and some are preety grumpy at reception. If you came to this hostel hoping to meet other backpackers and have a party and laugh, this is not the place. Its too expensive for young backpackers to visit, however its an excellent place for family with children travelling on a budget. It seems more like a sefl catering accomodation rather than a backpackers hostel.

Liked: Stayed in the new wing, everything was clean. Brekky was good, basic but loads available. They give two tokens per nights stay to use in the hot drinks machine or washing machine. All reception staff are very knowledgible about the area and able to book activities for you. free carparking was great, left the car for our entire stay as the Villa is so close to toiwn/train station etc.

Disliked: About the only poor thing.....the rooms were very warm. We had to fight our Korean roomies to keep the window open at night, the only way we could stay comfortable.
