Liked: Ursula and Chris were very very very very helpful! The breakfast was excellent and our room was just what we needed after a long train ride. We found it was cheaper and healthier to just cook our own food (big supermarket that is a 5 minute walk down the road) in the kitchen provided at the hostel so that was a plus! If I ever go back to Interlaken, I would stay at Rugenpark!

Liked: Excellent hospitality of the owner. She made our Wedding anniversary so special. (Thank you!) We also liked breakfast very much. (Bread is increduble. Mutschli(?) or something. Try them!) Location is also perfect. We used shared toilet and it was clean, not crowded at all. It would be good to bring your own sleeper though. (If you want to avoid bare foot on public toilets.) Kitchen is well-equipped. Overall.... really good B&B.

Liked: enjoyed our stay at Rugenpark B&B. it is in a good location; within walking distance at end of main street. Ursula and Chris were very friendly and helpful; giving us ideas of things to do etc. Accomodation is very clean; although it was a little noisy the first night we arrived. Would recommend this as a good place to stay on a budget.

Liked: We have been travelling europe for 4 months now and thought we stayed in some great hostels/hotels. Our stay at Rugenpark was hands down the best place we have ever stayed at. Locaton is great and the value for money is unbeatable. The rooms were exactly what we needed, the breakfast was great, cleanliness was imaculate and the helpfulness of Chris and Ursula made our stay in Interlaken unforgettable. They greeted us every time we came home for the day which made us feel at home, as did Monty, their gorgous pet dog. Ursula even drove us to the doctor when we she had a spare minute! Id deffinately stay here again and would suggest this place to anyone visiting Interlaken. Thanks to Chris, Ursula and Monty for the your service, and even more so, your helpfulness and friendliness.

Liked: It was one of the best properties of our entire trip which included Switzerland and Italy. Chris and Ursula went out of the way to be helpful. The facilities are par excellence. We were with two young kids, 10 and 6 yrs old and the convenience for all of us was fabulous. If i had the money, I would buy a property in Interlaken and give it on a 99 year lease to them to manage. They are one off the best in business. Bravo ! Hostelbookers need to be credited for promoting this B&B. Excellent temperament of hosts and a picture postcard view from the windows. Will surely promote the place and visit again. Liked: Easily the best stay of any place I've ever been in Europe. This is mostly due to the sincere care of Ursula and Chris that you have a good experience in Interlaken. Location is great, great facilities for the price, and a very good breakfast. Ursula can (and gladly will) check out weather forecasts, give advice for hiking routes, and guide you to the best restaurants in town. Thanks for everything!
