19 July 2009	Liam O'Dell This is a beautiful hotel located a bit further out of "central" Interlaken (15min walk / 5 min bus) but the Bear Inn is a really lovely place to stay! All of the staff who work there are very friendly and helpful with all enquires (even printing off the train timetable for me). On site laundry for the "mid trip washing", worked a treat. The restaurant food was good (they even kept the kitchen open, we arrived after 10 pm) so was the breakfast (included in the rate). The room was a good decent size, very clean. Hotel is mainly for families and middle aged people, not for the "young backpacker experience", as it is not located within the "happening area of town" - If you want this kind of place to stay, there are other youth hostels you can stay at more centrally located. We met one couple who had been coming to the hotel for the last 10 years! 10 / 10 for this place - Summer or Winter this place is a MUST to stay!	90%

This was our first stay at a "hostel" in Europe...it was much better than a typical hotel - not at all what our image of a hostel is!	97%
