Liked: Great character and good people. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds. The best view ever. And water pressure in the showers was amazingly good.

Disliked: i loved my stay here and would recommend it to friends, but after travelling to many hostels i found i disliked that there were no locks on anything... Doors etc. No lockers in rooms and toilets were downstairs from rooms.

Liked: Honestly the best place ive stayed at in 3 months of backpacking Europe. great to get away from the big cities and just relax for a while. fantastic staff, gemma + merlin will make sure you have a good time lots of things to do in the area don't book your accomodation after this place, you will want to extend your stay! cheapest place in switzerland as well!

Liked: Amazing place, great location in the alps- perfect for everything outdoors or just relaxing and taking in the view. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, so much fun. GO there!

Liked: This place is a little off the beaten path, but when you're going to see the beauty of the Alps, that's exactly what you want. The building is a classic Swiss Chalet with atmosphere coming out the wazoo. The staff is among the friendliest I've ever encountered (I've stayed in around 50 hostels worldwide); they make you feel extremely welcome. The communal kitchen is great, as is the fire pit, games, and of course the views.

Disliked: You're only given 15 minutes of free Internet. After that you have to pay 5SFr for 30 min or 10SFr for an hour. Other than that, zero complaints!

Liked: Can't say enough good things about the place. Only wish we could have stayed longer! The room was clean, the bathrooms were fine, the kitchen was superb and the entire hostel was definitley condusive to a retreat. And the staff were better than great, Gemma even shared her birthday cake with us. Thanks.

Disliked: Only thing was that we were expecting free wifi but only got 15 minutes per person. Wasn't a big deal, just not what we hoped or needed at the time.

Liked: this hostel likes very dark and spookier :) insite and when we arrived nobody here :( we were very tired and we needed relax on bed, becouse our way was very very long. sorry. We had to looked for others acommodation.

Liked: This place is beautiful and a wonderful place to stay. It was very relaxing and has a wicked way of making you get to know the people who are staying there also. It was pretty quite while I was there but Im sure it would be a really great place to be when there is a few more people around.

Liked: Cosy, home-like atmosphere - it's just a big house rather than an impersonal hostel. Was nice to chill out in the lounge in the evening reading a book from the wide selection on their bookshelf.

Liked: Ive been thinking about what to write for a while, and realised that i would need a few pages to rave on about this place. So i will simply say...if you dont stay here then you are for sure missing out on an awesome experience. We are traveling for 3 months, and this is the best hostel we have ever stayed at, and the best hostel we think we will ever stay at. Cheers to Matt and Elizabeth for the rock climbing on the last day.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere was second to none. Met lots of lovely people. The hostel is very much in the country side with fab views. Quite a way from supermarket and cash machine and other such things.

Liked: Best Fucking Hostel ever! They have a full kitchen with everything you need (supply wise) and the beds are excellent. They sell beer and food at the hostel and also have a ski shop right there. When my friends and I went there they had a party and gave 150 jello shots away for free as well as a few bowls of punch. It was a fucking party every night basically. The staff there (I.E. a guy named Patrick) is the most helpful and easy-going guy you'll ever meet. Also- the hostel is literally situated on the side of a hill, giving you a full view of all the surrounding mountains so you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere- even though the train station is 2 minutes away. Even if you don't ski it would be worth it just to hang out there for a few days.
