Liked: There are hair dryers in the bathroom (FREE!). Individual fridge lockers which are just awesome even though I didn't get to cook while I was staying in the hostel. The hostel is really clean. It's easy to find as well.

Disliked: It would be more awesome if they provided breakfast!

Liked: Clean rooms, not far walk from main train station (Cornavin), kebab stores nearby :) Good toilets, lockers in rooms, comfortable bed, and movies to relax and watch in evening. Oh and transport card is great! Affordable and comfy enough place to stay while visiting Geneva.

Disliked: Staff could be friendlier, maybe a smile would be nice :)

Liked: very close to the city center, not so expensive as many hotels in Geneva, very clean bathrooms although you don't have your own in the room, great location- the best thing about this hostel, VERY HAPPY FOR STAYING THERE!!!

Liked: The toilets and sinks were spotless. Great kitchen! Super travel card!

Disliked: Dirty chairs... The shower was blocked and filled up..... gross! Free coffee might have been better than free stale cake and cereal. I booked a private room through hostel bookers. It contained two beds. On the notice inside the room, it stated that there were single rooms with one bed.. This option was not available via hostelbookers.

Liked: I liked that it was easy to find, the place was warm, clean and spacious. there were lots of facilities including lockers which were useful for us who arrived too early for check in. There was lots of information posters in different languages to help your stay and the staff were very helpful. The room was warm and comfy, just what you need the night before you fly! I was impressed by the toilets and general cleanliness of comunal areas

Disliked: there was doubt over the price quoted on hostelbookers to the price charged at the hostel. However we did need to change from euros to swiss francs

Liked: Very very clean, with lovely bathrooms, sinks in rooms, sizeable lockers in rooms to store luggage, FAST, FREE WI-FI! Each bed had a perosnal socket/lamp cabinet at the pillow end.. VERY comfy beds, provided with duvet, not just bed sheets.. Very reasonably priced considering A) standard of hostel and B) the cost of staying in Geneva in general. Also a keycard system for added security! Good reception staff, very efficient and helpful; and a comfy social area showing HD films each night. Was provided with a map created by City Hostel staff themselves; very useful! Helped me plan out my sole day in Geneva!

Disliked: No breakfast offered or included unfortunately... And quite subdued in the evening... Besides that, very little to complain about!

Liked: they are environmental friendly;provided recycling bins on each floor. and i like their rooms. the hostel has high security! :)

Liked: Location was excellent, good value for ur money, it was clean, they give u a city card for the public transportation for the days u stay in. Also wifi internet is free. They have lockers were u can leave ur luggage during the day after checking out. Also if u want to buy any souvenirs they sell then cheaper at the hostel. They also exchange Euros for CHF at a lower rate, still is almost the same as if u pay a commission in a exchange house. there's a kitchen in all floors dispose to ur convenience. And is a good place to stay and meet new people, they have a tv room, computers on the first floor, and a several tables at the reception. Also the map they provide to you has really helpful information, like cheap places to eat, scenic places, bars and nightlife. The place is perfect.

Liked: Good location, Helpfulness, free tram&bus card, clean, free wifi, kitchen, laundry room and 2 TV rooms.. Internet is not too expansive..

Liked: impeccably clean, 4 bed dorms are quiet and all you can hope for after a long day of walking.

Disliked: tiny showers. :C I'm not a big person but they were definitely a challenge to change & shower in while keeping your stuff dry.

Liked: A good price to enjoy a single room and an excellent location. Even cheaper to enjoy if I can find a friend to share one room. Convenient and clean. The transportation pass is of great value, which covers 2 days and is worth 21 euros. Free transportation for every bus and everywhere including the airport!

Liked: Spotless+functional+conveniently located, all at a honest price. The room was more like a 2-star hotel environment and the shared toilet and showers were to a high standard. One might wish for less than 44£ a night, but considering the central position and that it's Switzerland, I can't complain. And all the facilities available may justify the price. Thumb up to the management. Only snag: the power sockets in the room. Only one available, but that's something in common with other hostels I have stayed. All in all, highky recommendable.

Liked: The Geneva City Hostel is very clean and in a very central location. The travel card that they give you is fantastic and gets you onto all trains, trams, buses and some boats in Geneva.

Disliked: The information sheets that they give you at the reception desk are not entirely correct, some of the information is out of date and some of it is incorrect. If you are planning a day trip I would suggest going and speaking to tourist information instead of the hostel staff.

Liked: The place was very clean and efficient. It has everything you need in a hostel.

Disliked: The atmosphere and staff was a bit cold. Seemed like the whole operation was just designed to make money (ads everywhere)

Liked: Firstly, it is extremely easy to get there from Geneve Cornavin. The security system (entry by card) is also very good, the showers were very clean and tempered. the staff was wonderful and very willing to help.

Liked: Well organized kitchen, great wifi, good showers. Had a double room that was set up a little weird but was nice enough.

Disliked: Not a place that was set up to encourage socializing and the selection of games that you could rent were pathetic.

Liked: It is a decent, clean and well kept place which offered everything that I would expect from a hostel.

Disliked: There is no breakfast. It is quite expensive for a hostel, but I guess that is because Geneva in general is expensive.
