Liked: Helpful staff and free printing service. the locker provided was very useful

Liked: A good economic accommodation in Basel, close to the SBB station and the city center is only two trams away with the mobility tickef. LOunge, cosy bed, and clean bathroom, what else? I like the sledging in the stairs, that was really cool!

Disliked: Couldn't enjoy the terrasse in winter, it's really a shame (the advertisement was fake.)

Liked: First of all, It was safe and clean. But the perfect thing was that they provided us a transportation ticket, which is great.

Liked: The hostel was nice. The beds were very confortable. They were lockers for each person, doublesize bed and walls between the beds. The kitchen was alright. We had a ticket for the public transport that was very usefull.

Disliked: The check-in was late...around 4 pm, but the reception kept our bags so we could go visit. The kitchen was self-clean kitchen so it wasn't that clean...

Liked: Mobility ticket is very helpful. The staff was friendly and gave useful suggestion for sight seeing and lend me a book. There is a public kitchen.

Disliked: Bed is not clean. Couldn't have a good sleep at the all 2 night staying there because it was so itchy and cold. Couldn't use blankets because it kept wake me scratching my self. Used two different available blankets at 2 nights and both are not clean! Think there were bed bugs. Couldn't sleep well either because it's cold without a blanket. Have to survive alone because there is no 24 hours lobby so there is no staff can help with the problem.

Liked: The beds were comfy, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The kitchen was really well equipped and the toilets and showers were clean. It is about a half hour walk from the city centre, but it's a nice walk, and besides the hostel gives you a free Basel travel card, which is great!

Disliked: It was expensive, but so is everywhere in Switzerland. The reception is closed in the middle of the day, so it is a bit inconvenient if you arrive in the middle of the day since there will be no where to put your luggage.

Liked: pricey for what it is but in general, nice hostel. beds are big. allocated lockers in dorm on arrival. kitchen ok. big shower cubicles with dry area and stool to put clothes on.

Disliked: can only check in between 4 and 7 (luckily some was able to check us in at 2.30). pricey bar and expenive breakfast

Liked: Everything was great! I would recommend this hostel to everyone who´s looking for a cheap, clean room close to the city centre of Basel.

Disliked: There was nothing to criticize.

Liked: We were given 1 day tickets when we arrived at the hostel. The staff were friendly and the room we stayed in was large (8 beds)..

Disliked: We couldn't use the internet properly... The kitchen could be larger and cleaner.

Liked: Very Nice staff, very helpfull, if you checkin late, you have to make sure you have your credit card number bcz it will be needed to enter a machine that will give you the key to your room so you better know that, bcz I had 3 CC and the machine didn't allow me to enter bcz I only succeed at the 3rd code I enter and between all the wrong codes I had to wait a lot of time in a cold weather and a loudnoise coming out of that machine :-S

Liked: It is one of the best hostels that I lived! Extremely nice staff!! Though it is 10-bed dorm, each bed is with its own bedlight and I sleeped quite well. I am fond of the paintings and sculptures everywhere. Free ticket for all the trasportation also saved me a lot of money. Anyway, I am all up for it ----Basel Back Pack><

Liked: I would recommend this hostel to young people. I stayed with my mother and it was a little bit less than I had expected, although as a youth hostel, it is nice.
