Liked: This place is quite expensive, but given the fact that this is Switzerland, I think it would be near impossible to find better for cheaper. Clean, helpful, and quiet, the hostel is a well-run establishment.

Liked: the breakfast wasn't included in the price and you had to pay for every coffe in the kitchen, but except those two facts everything was just perfectI'd recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Basel

Liked: The best hostel I ever stayed in : 5 minutes walking from the railway station, perfectly clean and nice, not too expensive, free internet, equipped kitchen, free public transport ticket, own locker, friendly staff, everything was perfect, except disturbing roommates and noisy people under our window :)

Liked: it is a new building nice beds and very friendly and helpful. one of the best hostels i ve stayed. good value for money. i would definately recommend it

Liked: Nice rooms and showers with excellent lockers - which can be hard to find when travelling...Walking distance from train station...very clean and useable kitchen facilities...only complaint would be that reception is not open 24 hours...

Liked: I had a great stay at the YMCA Hostel Basel. The staff was extremely helpful and the place was spotless! Its located in a quite, safe area in the perfect location...close to everything! DEFINITELY recommend staying here!

Liked: It was really easy to get to from the train station, which is good when you have all of your stuff. It is a little far from the city center, but you also get a free pass for public transportation so that's no problem.
