Liked: It was ridiculously clean and comfy with a fantastic location (literally about 2 blocks from the train station).

Liked: It was so clean it was untrue! Staff were really helpful and friendly.Need to maybe change layout a bit to encourage more of a communal feeling - make the lounge (and TV) bigger to encourage people to hang out there.

Liked: I spent a wonderful time in YMCA. The room was realy nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. This is the best hostel I have ever been. Thank you. :)

Liked: The hostel is brand new (established just one year ago). It was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best hostel at which I stayed lately. I think that the quality of the services offered, together with the wonderful atmosphere of the place and with the safety and security one enjoys make this hostel and unbeatable choice in Basel. Besides that, the offer of a free ticket for all the public means of transportation in the city was an amazing advantage. I highly recommend this hostel as a place to stay in Basel.
