Welcome to our little combined hotel & hostel, a cosy and homely place in the middle of wonderful Soedermalm, two steps from “Sofo”(SOuth of FOlkungagatan), a young and hip neighborhood full of trendy bars and small scale designer boutiques. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town, 6 bus lines 50m away takes you anywhere in town, direct bus #53 to the Central Station takes 8 minutes and 2 subway stations 600 m away. However, you don’t have to go far. According to us, you have all you need right here on Soedermalm, except perhaps the Wasa-museum, but we can tell you which boat to take to get there.

We only have 10 rooms with a total of 33 beds, so we try to make time for all of our guests and simplify their journey in the town we know so well and love most of the time, despite the rising levels of pollution.

Beside from treating you as well as we possibly can, we also wish to treat the environment as gently as we possibly can, and we are now certified as "Green Key", a label that ensures us to be an environmentally friendly choice.

We have an organic breakfast buffet largely exceeding the choices of the typical continental hostel breakfast.

We can also offer the following:

All rooms are equipped with cable-TV (no porn), linen, towels, bath robes and free access to internet via wireless internet (WLAN) or our guest computer2. The rooms without private bath room have a sink.

* DVD, PlayStation2 and VHS is located in the combined breakfast room/lounge.
* Free coffee and 36 varieties of tea around the clock.
* Vendor machine available with candy, beverages, tooth brushes, organic and fair trade choices are available.
* Guest kitchen with water boiler, micro, refrigerator, electric stow, laundry and ironing facilities - access with private key.
* No curfew.
* Private key to the front door.
* 24-hour check in - Contact us 20 minutes before arrival so we can have personnel on site- the reception normally closes at 19.00. Late check in after 20:00 is charged with 50 SEK (approx 5.5EUR/7USD).
* Non-Swedish Visa/MasterCards are subject to a 2% bank fee.
* We're not connected to Amex or Diner's card systems.
* Currency in Sweden: Krona or Kr or SEK (Swedish KRona).
* Cash accepted: CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, SEK, and USD .

* No security lockers in all the rooms yet, but a hotel safe if you need to store valuables. No guest have been robbed of anything inside the hotel since we opened 6 years ago!

Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside the hotel!

- Parking is free on weekends and from 17-09, otherwise 12 SEK/hour.
- An open air parking 400 m from the hotel costs 40 SEK/24hours.
- Parking locked inside a mountain, 500m away. 80 SEK/night or 195 SEK/24 hours.

Accommodation Information

We have 10 rooms, and a total of 33 beds. 5 rooms with private bath rooms, and 5 with shared bath rooms. All guests have bath robes.
Guest kitchen with refrigerator, owen, microwave, water boiler, washing machine and tumbler.
In the combined breakfast room/lounge we have playstation 2, DVD, VHS, stereo, free coffee and 36 varieties of tea as well as free WLAN and 2 guest computers.
Money exchange and fax service.
Room # 3 to 6 are cellar based with skylight windows.
Room #8 is a mini room where you'll have to climb on a ladder to get up.

The Old Town is located 750 m away, the best view overlooking Stockholm is 100 m away!
Central Station is 3 km away on the main land.
Bus stop Tjaerhovsplan 50 m away with 7 bus lines, where bus nr 53 goes directly to Central Station. Subway station SLUSSEN is 700 m away, as well as subway station MEDBORGARPLATSEN.
150 pubs, bars, restaurants, discotheques in the surrounding area of 1,2 km.
