Liked: right in the centre of the beautiful old town. about 15 or 20 min walk to rail and bus stns and 20 - 25 min walk to viking ferry terminal.comfy beds and plenty of space in big dorm.good hot showers.good kitchen with free tea and coffee all day.food shop and Alko shop ( for budget travellers) about 5 -10 min walk.friendly helpful staff.good dorm price in an expensive country :- eg pot of tea for one in a lovely quaint old town tea shop 95 SK ( about £8 or $12) ARE YOU NUTS?Would highly recommend hostel though.

Liked: The location was really good and the staff were really friendly. If your willing to share rooms with other people, I can't think of a better place to stay.

Liked: I had a good all-around stay at the City Lodge Hostel in Stockholm.My only complaint would relate to the baggage-lockers located in the shared room in wich I stayed and the lack of 24 hour internet access.LOCKERS-----------------------------------The lockers were quite narrow. My travel pack, average or below average in size, was unable to fit in the locker.The locker was also located amongst the shared room's bunks. This is okay during the day, while the room-lights are on and people are awake. However, I returned to my room at night when the room-lights were off and left the hostel in the morning before the room-lights were on.There were lights located on each bed, but it was still difficult to access the items in my locker without turning on the room-lights and disturbing the other people in the shared dorm.Locating the lockers outside the shared room or affixing dim night-lights in the room would be possible solutions to this problem. As would supplying slightly larger lockers.INTERNET ACCESS-----------------------------------The computers used for internet access were shut-down overnight. Both nights, when I returned to the hostel, I was unable to use this supplied service.Leaving these computers on overnight or even for a few more hours in the evening would help solve this problem.-----------------------------------

Liked: I had arrived late due to cancelled flight, so was only left with one full day, and staff was extremely helpful in recommending where to go, best options etc. ILocation was amazing - so close to everything and i was clean and tidy. Would definately recommend this hostel.
