Liked: Absolutely everything ! The staff was attentive, very clean and well organised facilities. The beds were very comfortable and had light to read and plugs for electricty for each bed. There is common kitchen wich you can cook and free coffe&tea. Beware tho if you don't bring your linen set they charge to use theirs, I brought mine and no probs. Lockers are inside the rooms thats also an advantage. Showers are very clean and big.

Disliked: Aparth from everything being positive there is something might be negative for some people which there are no windows in some rooms, mine were one of them too but airconditioning was running perfect so which was even better for me. You have to ask for dryer you don't have in showers!!

Liked: The location was really central and easy to find.

Disliked: The kitchen, with only one sink, one stove, no oven and hardly any bench space, it makes it difficult when there is a bunch of people all trying to cook their meals.

Liked: Location, clean and tidy, dark rooms to sleep in.. Each bed had its own power plugs and lamp so no fights for sockets and easy to,sleep if people want to read..

Disliked: Kitchen is a little small on seats and stoves for the number of people staying..

Liked: The location is good, and you can get a good range of services. Rooms and common room are neat and tidy.

Disliked: Unfortunately the staff were vague and unhelpful and made mistakes with my booking on two occasions, and were unhelpful when I tried to resolve the mistakes. The walls are extremely thin so a lot of noise comes through from neighbouring rooms. Showers are also cramped and lack privacy. Bad value for money, particularly on the staff front.

Liked: The location of the hostel is very good, only a few minutes walk from the nearest subway station. Also, it is just beside a good shopping street, which has many good coffee shops etc. A few mins walk is also the grand cinema, which shows films in english and stureplan, a busy area at night is also only about 10 mins away. I was able to walk easily to all areas of the city. The hostel itself was basic and clean, 4 pc's with internet, free tea and coffee and seating area near the kitchen. The rooms were safe with lockers (although you had to buy or bring your own lock) and the reception staff were very effective at the checking in/out process. There were also clothes washing facilities.

Disliked: My room had no window, so there was no fresh air in the room and it wasn't very pleasant to stay in for a long period of time, so really just somewhere to rest, rather than to relax. I had a bit of a strange situation where I had booked into a female only room, however a man was staying in the room on the first night, which I wasn't really happy with. On another night, someone checked in around 1am, turning all the lights on, making the bed etc ....wasn't very considerate...

Liked: Great secure place, perfect location. Though the atmosphere and design could be better :) But it's cheap, so worth it's price.

Disliked: Paid linen, paid lock, slow wifi. A way too crowdy.

Liked: Nice staff, easy to get to know people.

Disliked: This was my second stay at this hostel, and what struck me is that they should really get rid of the derogating and sexist signs in the hallways. Not everyone that stays in hostels are drunken teens, not everyone laughs at bad sexist jokes. GET RID OF THESE SIGNS!!!

Liked: Close to center of stockholm, can even walk to old town and beyond in like 15 minutes. Once you locate the hostel from central station you have a pretty good understanding of the center. Big kitchen area, quite rooms for sleeping.

Disliked: No windows in the hostel. I know it sounds nitpicky however when you are in your room and turn the light out it is pitch black, kinda weird . As well no alcohol consumption. There are signs that are saying no alcohol and then signs that make comments about drinking alcohol. However it is confusing but I have never been to hostel that doesnt allow drinking, even a few beers, would have been nice to after the Sweden hockey match!

Liked: Lots of internet terminals and wifi in the rooms is great. Showers were excellent - very powerful and hot. Location is good. One of the girls at reception was very sweet and polite. For Stockholm where everything is quite expensive - this is okay value for money - but you do have to pay extra for sheets. The hostel seemed to be clean. I guess this place is fine if you are just staying here for one night, want somewhere quite central as a base so that you can explore the area or if you're in a large group.

Disliked: I've stayed in a lot of hostels and this was one of my least favourite. Firstly - no windows in the very small dorm - there was barely enough room to get around each other. There are lockers in the rooms - but no lock provided... presumably you have to rent this or bring your own - this should be clearer on the website. Also, what is it with the whole paying extra for bed linen?? If I am staying in a bed used by other people before - of course I want bed linen...! It just seems like a way of making you pay extra and getting you to make your own bed... The rules state no sleeping bags but I doubt there are many people travelling with their own set of sheets...? Reception was awful... One of the girls was really sweet and lovely however there was no sense of urgency about anything she was doing. I tried to check in about 5pm but there were so many other people there - I left and came back about an hour later. When I got back - it was still busy and I had to queue for a while... around twenty minutes. When I finally got to the front - the girl took a phone call and left me standing there for (no exaggeration) another 10 minutes. If that was me - I would have taken a number and called back when reception had cleared. In the meantime of course - the queue behind me was getting bigger and bigger again - they really need more staff on reception at busy times. One person doing everything (very slowly) is not ideal. I found the other girl who had been there earlier in the day when I left my bag with them rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Each one of these points in isolation can be easily overlooked - but all of them together made up for a disappointing experience. If I came back to Stockholm - I wouldn't stay here again.

Liked: It was a good place to rest and it has also good opportunities to make food of your own. Rooms were dark so you had a good sleep unless there weren't somebody who snores....

Liked: The people workon gare very nice and the kitchen was great for cooking, plus I liked the free coffee and tea!!!
