Liked: Staying at a botel was such a neat experience and the red boat Malaren was so quaint and cute. The downside was that I was on a top bunk in the hostel and had zero room to move about while sleeping. Also, the lamps are right at the head of the bed so you wack your head everytime you move your head while sleeping. The rooms were really really hot which is good during the cold winter of Sweden but it was still too hot for me and I am from Arizona. I would still recommend the place since it's an experience staying there but maybe splurge for your own room and not crammed on the top bunk.

Liked: 3m x 1.5 m rooms!!!cold and opened toilet!!ok atmosphere...u sleep in a boat...but generally too less for value!!

Liked: If you are in Stockholm, you just have to stay on a real boat....a great experience. A little inconvenient to the old town (maybe 10-12 minutes walk....not so easy in winter snow), but otherwise quite a good place to stay. Rooms...er, cabins are small, as is to be expected on a boat, but great views over the city from the window. Be sure to ask for a room overlooking the water, not the road.

Liked: Great location close to both Gamla Stan and Noormalm (-both 10mins walk away), Rooms cosy and warm (-despite previous reviews). Please note pics as cabin-style beds for couples to share. Shared bathroom facilities nearby in hallway. Price is competitive and would highly recommend to singles and couples alike. Central station closeby and about 25mins walk.

Liked: The decoration around is really good, which makes you in a period one hundred years ago.We live in the white boat but the room in which we could see the lake and the breakfast is ok.

Liked: We stayed in the 10-person dorm room, which was a bit cramped. There were no lockers - kind of a bummer but you could stash your valuables at the front desk.The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the new guy. Happy Birthday, new guy!

Liked: never slept on a boat before, so that was really nice. Walls are really thin ;-) A lot of building works in the area... But all in all, I would go again...

Liked: The location was good, very close to the old town. Good breakfast, cleanest and atmosphere... But if you are looking for fun and action, this is not a place for you, the hostel is quite and calm.
