Customer reviewGreat place loads of character and a really different place to stay. Only drawback is the instructions on how to get there which are weak and a bit confused so I reccommend that you print off a map before you go. |

Rosie JoyceIt was a quirky, very well presented and clean hostel. The rooms were lovely, a tad small but that is to be expected. Big power shower, free wi fi, tv, a safe and various plug sockets. The staff were wonderful. They upgraded me and my boyfriend on arrival and also helped my boyfrind order flowers for my birthday. When they arrived they also gave us some champagne and glasses and a birthday card! Walking distance from Galma Stan but also close to buses and tubes. A really lovely place to stay. |

Customer reviewThis place is harder to get to than others as it involves more walking, but it is located on a very peaceful island. Excellent restuarant and help from staff. The "prison" theme is well-maintained without sacrificing comfort. Overall, one of the 2 best places that I have stayed at while travelling Europe. |

Jennifer SouthworthThis is a very unique place to stay - you actually ARE in a prison cell, it's tiny, but pretty fun. The staff is VERY helpful, they answered about 50 of our questions about everything from the kroner to the airport. On our last morning there, I missed breakfast, but when I went to the cafe, the host was incredibly generous and asked the kitchen to make me a sandwich, even though they were closed. I ended up with a DELICIOUS sandwich for free for breakfast. It's a little bit loud - my friend had trouble every night because she could hear the heavy cell doors slamming and people walking. We have a theory that it might be ghosts - but in any case, it's not the quietest place to stay. It was also a little bit far from the metro, Overall, I liked it though. |
