 I don't know why the former occupants of this location complained. We had to pay for our imprisonement !

the people at reception were extremely friendly - especially the young blonde receptionists. an absolutely beautiful place - snow'd when we were there and the place was stunning.

interesting place, beautiful location, surroundings. I didn't go there to have fun and meet people- was satisfied with a room for the night, before continueing journey next morning. I enjoyed very good food in the restaurant, served by friendly people. I slept in a single room in the Museum. The room was tiny and claustrophobic - as near a prison experience as you can have without actually being jailed - at 400,- crowns a night I found this quite a stiff price. However the rest was good.

The fact that the hostell is a former prison brings an unique vibe to your stay. Hostell's surroundings were also beautiful and e.g. metro station was quite near.

Clean comfortable rooms, not dorm rooms so secure and private. Television and telephone, plus on-suite bathroom, a very nice hostel - but located quite far out of town.

The atmosphere was amazing. What a wonderful idea to convert the old prison and not simply tear it down. It was unique and very comfortable. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable.
