Kathryn HayesIt was a little outside the principal areas of the city, but the hostel felt more like a hotel; ok the rooms were small and we only had a bunkbed, but what can you expect when you consider the original purpose of the building. We had ensuite facilities and a TV for such a reasonable price, we were very impressed. The renovation of the building is excellent. I definitely recommend paying extra for the buffet breakfast; the selection is very good, but I would suggest getting there a while before they stop serving, as they don't seem to replenish what has been taken during the last hour (available until 10am on weekends). There was a tapas bar close to the hostel, which we visited after arriving at the hostel quite late, I recommend going here for something to eat and to drink. |

Customer reviewThis is SO much more than a hostel. Nothing at all was as expected. The area is beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful, the rppms...spotless and unique. Would I recommend it? Hell yes ! Langholmen is a hostel you should definately put on your list of places to stay. One last point tho...take plenty of cash...the prices compared to the UK are much much higher. |
