Liked: cleanliness, well equipped rooms, toilets, the reading section, the section where breakfast was served was just GREAT, and the watitresses there were also very halpful and nice ( but for one :( ); he way it combines the new with the old

Liked: It was a little outside the principal areas of the city, but the hostel felt more like a hotel; ok the rooms were small and we only had a bunkbed, but what can you expect when you consider the original purpose of the building. We had ensuite facilities and a TV for such a reasonable price, we were very impressed. The renovation of the building is excellent. I definitely recommend paying extra for the buffet breakfast; the selection is very good, but I would suggest getting there a while before they stop serving, as they don't seem to replenish what has been taken during the last hour (available until 10am on weekends). There was a tapas bar close to the hostel, which we visited after arriving at the hostel quite late, I recommend going here for something to eat and to drink.

Liked: This is SO much more than a hostel. Nothing at all was as expected. The area is beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful, the rppms...spotless and unique. Would I recommend it? Hell yes ! Langholmen is a hostel you should definately put on your list of places to stay. One last point tho...take plenty of cash...the prices compared to the UK are much much higher.

Liked: We really only used the hostel for sleeping, so meeting people and partying were not important. The location to the transport is very good.

Liked: The hostel was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was friendly, and Langholmen is one of the most beautiful places in Stockholm, I really enjoyed living on a green and peaceful island sorrounded by water.

Liked: i liked that it maintained the prison decorum but offered contemporary accomodations. i also liked how close it was to the local tram station adn the simple commute to central station.

Liked: Despite it is a real prizon, "cells" are very comfortable. It is not only a nice hotel, but a wery interesting attraction as well.

Liked: unique location in former prison. Well adapted, very comfortable, however still keeping a lot of old prison's spirit. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere.
