yes, but you have to be carefull in wich building will yuo sleep. some of them are not friendly because of dusty and bad smelling bed inen.

It is near stockholm and is built among great and beautiful trees.

If you're not going by car, once you get there the only way to find it is to follow the directions indicated in the "going by car" section, or you won't find it easily, since it's in a park. Once you get there... it's wild, relaxing and beautiful!
Well connected to the city center, just need to check timetables of ALL kind of transportation for the 24 hours (available at the hostel) - ask for a map and to indicate how to get to the city center and back.
Helpful staff, all facilities available. Breakfast buffet - you're good to go for the day! Or you can have (cook and eat) your meals in the kitchen. Also microwave and fridge available.
Cleaned rooms and bathrooms.
If I went back to Stockholm, I would go back to Solna Youth Hostel.

First thing first, travelling tip to the the hostel, if you are planning to get there using metro & bus, get to HALLONBERGEN rather than SOLNA CENTRUM metro station. Coz from HALLONBERGEN there is higher bus frequency to the hostel as compared to SOLNA CENTRUM! I had to wait for nearly an hour at night to get back from SOLNA! Also, from HALLONBERGEN, there is a huge hypermarket (called PRIXTRA) just few hundred metres down the road, where you can get really cheap food as compared to the supermarket in the city centre (especially great if you are planning to cook in the hostel, as eating out in Stolkholm is quite costly) The doubleroom I stayed is nice and clean (even with TV), with great self-catering facilities. Although it was stated by hostelbookers that bedlinen and towels are charged, but when I got there, it was provided totally free of charge! On my last day, the receptionist even kindly let me had a slightly later check out at 12pm, rather than their standard 11am. Although the location is slightly out of town, but after knowing the bus and metro route and with presence of the hypermarket, it really did make my trip worth while with really great value for money.

I liked how there was lot of nature around Solna Hostel...we even saw 2 deer! Also, I liked how there was a shared kitchen where we could prepare our own meals. We met some fun people in the nice common room too.

Friendly, easy going staff, who also came to check if people were quiet at night so you would not be bothered if you wanted to sleep. Everybody thankfully spoke English.
I've heard of youth hostels where you have to be gone from like 10 am to 3 pm, but you could be here all day.
Clean kitchen with everything you need, good showers.

It is ofcourse out of town but easily accessible by car or public transport. Its a value for money ,having good premises ideal for camping.. Really impressed..!!! Can come there for weekend spend time with firends ..I love it..!!!

Location. Ulriksdal metro station is close, which connects you to the whole city. Signals to get the place are not that clear.
The place is clean and representative of an average swedish citizen. Nice food.
