Liked: Very friendly staff and easy to meet people. I would really recommend Citybackpackers hostel to anyone.

Disliked: Reception closes at 22.00, but luckily they always arrange that you could get the key after 22.00.

Liked: It was only a short walk from town, free internet access, comfortable beds.

Disliked: Very few showers. No night staff available AT ALL. when an unfortunate incident arouse between midnight and 6.30am, there was no point of contact or staff member to call out and remove the problem. Short of clling the police we were left to fend for ourselves.

Liked: Great facilities, friendly staff, free pasta, great location, clean and a good place to meet other people.

Disliked: If you're looking for a quiet place, look further. This hostel is noisy during night and not really suitable for couples because of the bunk beds in all rooms (even in the private twin).

Liked: I loved the free pasta and it was a great place to meet people! Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the scene is fantastic.

Disliked: Some people didn't clean up after themselves... but that wasn't anyone's fault!

Liked: Very clean place to stay and ideally placed close to the centre of the town, safe and secure, and with helpful staff. Plenty of people there to meet and talk with. Entrance is through a cafe, which feels good to start with!

Disliked: Didn't really want to dislike anything, but if I must I thought the beds were are bit too small, but I could put up with it.

Liked: Looked very nice, more like shared housing than a hostel.

Disliked: Was relatively more expensive but closest hostel from the train station. Still probably too far to walk with luggage in the snow though.

Liked: Very good location! Nice common room. Very clean. Optional breakfast is a good value compared to other cafés in the city.

Disliked: Beds were on the soft side and a bit squeaky. Kitchen needs more glasses and one of the cookers didnt work very well. Common room and kitchen was very crowded in the evening, would do with more seats.

Liked: I liked it's location (very close to the city center, only 5-10min walk from all the main tourist attractions), staff is very nice and friendly, computers in the common area (big Apple iMacs), fast internet WiFi connection in common area and in dorms

Disliked: I didn't like the showers and the toilets - they are clean, but very small and haven't been renovated in a while. I also didn't like the fact, you have to remember or carry with you a list of codes to get into the hostel & dorm (code for the main door changes every day). But overall a very nice hostel, i liked it very much and if I ever return to Stockholm, I'm sure I'll be staying in this hostel again.

Liked: It has a really great atmosphere. The lounge is central and comfortable and it is so easy to meet people, as everyone seems to congregate there. The hostel has a lot of fun things going on that you can sign up for; I did the viking sauna tour and it was a great experience. I was traveling alone for the first time yet I wasn't alone at all (I think I did one touristy thing by myself). I had a great time!

Liked: The laid-back and homeliness approach was great as it gave everyone a homely feeling. No interruption whatsoever and we can do whatever we like. :)

Disliked: Nothing in specific. Probably the map needs to be updated as people might get lost because of the roads of Stockholm.

Liked: Good location, nice staff, spacious dorms, clean bed linen (although you have to pay a bit extra for them) .

Disliked: Sometimes there was no hand soap in the toilets, and there could be more food choice in the hostel bar; otherwise it's a fine hostel!

Liked: It is a really social and friendly place, impossible not to make friends! There is free pasta and free internet and free ice skates which was awesome. The rooms are a good size and there's loads of showers etc. Loved it here and ill miss all the people I met!

Disliked: The WiFi cut out lots down stairs

Liked: Great location! It was walking distance from most places I wanted to go. Most people were young and very nice which was great since I was a 20 year old girl traveling alone and it was my first time at a hostel. Overall, everyone from the staff to the other patrons, were very friendly and the hostel itself was clean and felt very safe.

Disliked: The only thing I had problems with was the wifi wasn't very good in my bedroom, but that was understandable since the door was very thick (which felt nice and safe!). The internet nearly always worked perfectly in all the common areas (sometimes went out for maybe 30mins, but even then the internet worked on the macs they had available for use).
