Liked: Had heaps of fun at this place - great location, and awesome for meeting fellow travellers. I really liked each room being named after a place in Sweden, and having its own fridge in the huge kitchen. Free pasta is a lifesaver too!

Disliked: All showers are in the basement, and can be a bit of a maze trying to find a private one (there's a shared area near the washing machines). Pub crawl is a bit expensive, but then Lena did shout the first round so can't really complain too much!

Liked: Gorgeous decor, in-house cafe, free wifi with awesome signal, location is unbeatable. Staff were helpful and informative.

Disliked: Lots of codes to get in and out of the property- I only dislike this as I have a memory like a goldfish! Obviously this is way easier than carrying keys around etc and also makes the place very secure, so really, its not that bad.

Liked: code number in each room, it is no necessary key

Disliked: any shower at the first floor. 2 WC but any shower. no wardrobe in twin private room. 1 chair and 1 small table. clothes hangle behind the door. no looks near bedroom, it means clothes allways in the bagagge kitchen with fridges and spaces for personal food well organized but only 2 small spoons for all hostel, and people take the cups to their room and there aren't enough for others who are in the kitchen

Liked: The location was excellent, right by the central station. It was a great place to meet people, there is an open courtyard for bbq-ing and chilling out. The internet facilities are also great.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: People were very friendly and willing to stop and talk at this hostel, which is not necessarily something that happens at other hostels! Staff are very helpful and friendly. Outside courtyard between the buildings is wonderful. Tons of bathrooms and showers.

Disliked: Hostel guests could be a bit rowdy at times, and people did not necessarily clean up after themselves (that's not the hostel's fault, of course!). If you are not out to enjoy Stockholm's nightlife this is probably not the hostel for you.

Liked: Friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, comfy beds.

Disliked: The cleaners vaccuuming outside the rooms at 8am!

Liked: My favorite hostel so far. Had everything you could want from a hostel. Staff was extremely friendly. There were a bunch of places indoors & outdoors to hang out. Had all the services you could want. Plus free pasta!

Disliked: Bedding and breakfast needed to be paid for separately.

Liked: Very cool hostel! Friendly staff, friendly guests, good atmosphere, smart space usage, security.

Liked: large kitchen area, great outdoor social space

Disliked: a wee bit smelly... but I guess the typical hostel smells? Dirty laundry in the halls/common room and urine in the bathrooms. I guess people aren't so good at aiming into the toilet, eh?

Liked: Great layout. Loved the inner courtyard. It was a great area to have a few beverages, some dinner and chat with fellow guests. Also the location is wicked. It's a 5 minute walk to the central station and the bussterminallen!

Disliked: Hmmm...not much really. Great place and stay overall!!

Liked: great place to meet people, fun atmosphere and common spaces. Kicthen was great and courtyard a lovely place to spend the evenings when krona is running low.

Disliked: Rooms in basement so a little dark, but not a problem for me

Liked: I liked the cleanliness a lot. They made you take off your shoes so the floor was always clean. The hostel also provides macs and great wireless internet

Liked: Much thought had clearly gone into making this hostel an enjoyable and convenient experience for both the weary and adventurous. A well equipped kitchen with plenty of clean fridge space, a spacious lounge with large screen tv, comfy seating and 4x hop on/off Macs. Wireless was open throughout and the sauna was nice additional feature. I imagine the outdoor lounge area is rather brilliant in summer too. Shoes off in the hostel - something I like. Not only cleaner but somehow homelier.

Disliked: Not much. They don't have room numbers (but place names instead) so they should have a map displaying the room layout to enable swift location. I scaled the entire building before finding 'kastellholmen'! And noticed two others doing the same on arrival.

Liked: The free pasta, the multiple living areas, the free internet

Disliked: The bathrooms were spread out, so it sometimes became a mission to find a free shower.

Liked: Very clean property...High no of toilets...which is always great. Good veranda and overall facilities. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Liked: It's in a good location near the train station and close to monuments. There are about 8 computers with Internet free of charge (Macs!). It's a huge hostel with spacious dorm rooms (code access to get in). There's a large lounge, fully equipped kitchen, sauna, outdoor patio, etc. I would stay here again.

Disliked: When we first checked in, the receptionist wanted to charge us a higher price than what we had reserved on HostelBookers. However, when we presented our documentation, they immediately gave us the quoted price with no hassle (thankfully!). It would be nice if they provided sheets.
