Overview

Come and stay at the Nordsjögården Vandrarhem, one of the most beautiful places in Sweden, just outside of Järvsö, near the lake.

Nordsjögården Vandrarhem is situated around 9 km outside of Järvsö in Hälsingland. Here you find a beautiful view over the lake Kalvsjön and a peaceful surrounding just for relaxing and enjoying the nature.

Nordsjögården has several hotel-rooms as well as multiple bedrooms in youth hostel style. In total we can offer 120 beds in different price levels. If you like to spend holidays with your whole family, you can rent an apartment (for max. 8 persons) with own kitchen, living room, TV and two bathrooms.

In Nordsjögården you will find many possibilities for all seasons. Facilities include a table tennis, billiard and table football. If you like to do some activities outside you can rent a canoe or a kayak, play tennis, make a bike tour or just take a walk in the fantastic Swedish woods here around. You can also find a big gymnastic hall and a smaller dance room, perfect for aerobic, yoga or dance sessions. If you like fishing (even ice-fishing) we can help you to get a fishing licence for the lake just close to the hotel or on another place here around. During wintertime you can go for alpine skiing at Järvsöbacken or cross country skiing in Harsa.

5 double rooms with shower and toilet, 2 apartments (max. 8 pers.) with kitchen, living room, TV, 2 bathrooms, 1 apartment without kitchen but with living room, TV and bathroom, 1 family room with 4 beds, 1 family room with 6 beds. In total 84 beds in 2-6 bed-rooms and showers and toilets on the floor.

Location Information

If you like, we will organise horse riding for you, a trip to the Järvzoo in Järvsö with its numerous nordic animals, trips with fourweel motorbikes in the summer and snowscooters in the winter, alpine and cross country skiing, sledge ride with dogs, fishing (even ice-fishing) in the lake Kalvsjön or in the Ljusnan river, hiking to the Klakken near hereby with a wonderful view over the Ljusnan valley. For a shopping tour we reccomend Huddiksval, around 70 km from here on the east cost.
