Liked: this hostel was fantastic, really good atmosphere, staff couldn't have been more helpful, rooms comfortable and secure, the BEST shower i've ever had in a hostel. great location, great place to meet other travellers.

Disliked: full of young people and can get quite noisy, which some people might not like, but it was exactly what we were there for.

Liked: Is 5 minutes from old part of Valencia and and 5 minutes from shopping streets and beautiful walking park , 5 minutes from metro and train station, 5 minutes from bars and night life, ... Everything is so close to the hostel. The rooms are clean and nice, also toilets and bathroom. Hostel has a great balcony, great "living room", staff people are very nice and friendly, hostel bar is great for realxing and parties where u can meet a lot of new friends, 24/7 u can get free coffe and tea, internet is very cheap (1€ for an hour)... if i ever come back to valencia im sure that im staying in this hostel, it makes my valencia experience comfortable and nice :) The best hostel ever ...and im traveling a lot ;)

Liked: It's a great place to stay. I will come back in the futher and will tell it to friends. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. When I have a number from 1 to 10 and 10 is the best rate, i will give 11!!

Liked: I liked the old character of the buidling along with the new inside. The bar was awesome and a great way to start the night and meet other people. The complimentary coffee and tea were very nice. I also really appreciated the air conditioning at night with all of the humidity in Valencia.

Disliked: This was not the cleanest place I've seen. The bathrooms were often out of toilet paper and the sheets did not smell good.

Liked: Purple Nest was a vibrant and friendly hostel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the facilites were well kept. It is well located within walking distance of teh centre and bus routes.

Disliked: As we stayed in the height of summer, the lack of Air Conditioning made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Liked: The fact that this hostel had a bar was great, and a pool table. It was very lively and a great place to go if you want to meet people. we made lots of friends while we were there! the staff were also very nice and very helpful!

Disliked: The cooker stopped working whilst we were cooking our meal because it overheated!

Liked: It's a clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly and attentiv; they always have a smile for you. The bed linen is clean and renewed quite frequently, even if you doesn't have to leave the hostel yet.

Disliked: Nothing as far as I can remember.One faucet was broken, but it's a minor detail since there were plenty of them.

Liked: Pretty good location, the front desk staff are really really nice. Lots of people there.

Disliked: The layout is terrible. The place is aimed at 18-21 year olds who want to get drunk. The bar is in the middle of the downstairs area, with the tables in front and the kitchen and computers to one side. At night it is a mess- everyone drinking crowds out those who'd like to just use a computer or make it to the kitchen. When you make it to the kitchen it's destroyed--nobody has cleaned up after themselves with dirty plates all over, dirty counters, pots, etc. The next morning the tables hadn't even been wiped off before breakfast--mine was sticky from what smelled like beer that'd been spilt the night before.

Liked: Funky design and a beautiful building, also about as cheap as it gets in Spanish travelling season!

Disliked: Much larger than anywhere I've stayed before, I always prefer the personal touch, everybody seemed friendly enough though :)

Liked: The atmosphere was great and the common rooms were a very good place where meet people.Also the conditioned air in the night was useful.

Disliked: The room we slept in was really a hole. We were 4 people and to move around we had to become tetris masters just to move around: there was no space at all! Even the window could not help us to breath and the door didn't open.

Liked: Jess and Natalya at reception are AMAZING. So helpful, outgoing and funny! And I liked having a bar in the hostel as a place to meet other travelers. It´s very colorfully painted too, which gives the place a cheerful feel.

Disliked: It wasn´t conducive for solo travelers to meet people in an intimate setting because the place is so big, and the bar is full of people cooking and drinking. I would have liked a common room for quiet hanging out.

Liked: Loved the atmosphere, great common area with even better facilities. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Also, the air conditioning at night was a godsend.

Disliked: Do wish the lockers came equipped with keys and padlocks - the bring your own system isn't great for security. Wasn't the cleanest (kitchen and bathrooms) but no real complaints about that either.

Liked: Best part was that we made a reservation for 3 beds in an 8 person dorm but were put in a 3 bed room for ourselves. That was a very pleasant surprise.Besides that the location of the hostel is good, near a metro station with a direct connection to the airport, at 5-10 minutes walking to the city centre and near a bus stop for the bus to the beach.The staff was very friendly and helpfull. And the rooms were okay and clean enough

Disliked: If you want a quite place you should not go to this hostel. There were parties every night with loud music. We were lucky to be on the 5th floor so we didn't hear much of it up there but with a room a bit lower it might be noisy. Also the breakfast was not worth the 2 euros that they asked for it. I'd prefer if they made it 3 euros and got some more variation. And taste. The rooms were very hot during the day with the airco only switched on during the night

Liked: EXCELLENT price. Fantastic building with clean, pretty, spacey rooms. Location is pretty good, although Valencia is smaller than you would think anyway. Plenty of stuff going on every night organized by the hostel staff.

Disliked: The large size of the hospital makes it a bit less 'cozy' and a bit harder to meet people.
