Liked: there is a lot of good info on display of thins to do, and it has a great location. and the showers are amazing!!

Disliked: the rooms were pitch dark when the light was off, so it was hard to get going in the morning if other people were still in bed, you couldn't see a thing!

Disliked: unfriendly staff (guy on the reception insult us becouse we support other football team than he), free wi-fi internet doesn't work, no space in the evening to sit and talk with friends, becouse they turn on very loud music

Liked: the staff were amazing. The bathroom facilities and rooms were very good and comfortable. plenty of common spaces to meet people to meet.

Disliked: kitchen facilities were very basic and far too few frying pans, sinks and no oven. the beer and other drinks at the bar were way to expensive.

Liked: Great atmosphere. The bar at night is rammed downstairs, great to meet other travellers or Spanish people. Large drip showers and toilets are excellent for a hostel, nicer bathroom than my one at home! Staff were incredibly friendly, all English speaking, willing to help. Always someone on front desk at any time of night. Helped me to find a student apartment in Valencia. Value for money is very very good. Oh, and trip to the beach with unlimited beer for €3 - yes, 3 euros!!

Disliked: Not that I disliked anything, but just to say I wouldn't recommend this place to older travellers.

Liked: beautiful color make it funny and happy, good matless, safety big, map avalable and help, a lot of information about activities on the wall, good hot temperature at night with heater, elevator avalable any time, reception safe and 24h a day, staff comprehensible and helpful as well, hot water for shower

Disliked: very small place in the room (to many bed in a small room), the bathroom smell very bad all time, shower door broken, they didn't give me a towel and i saw later than it was includ in the price,

Liked: Great place with a great staff. It is very easy to meet fellow travelers and find all of the attractions in Valencia. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was great. Purple Nest makes travelers feel at home.

Disliked: The only thing was that the bathroom smelled a little gross.

Liked: Really great location, comfortable, nice rooms with big windows and great view of city.

Disliked: Often the front desk person away from the front door and door unlocked. Also no organized events so not ideal for meeting people.

Liked: The purple Nest was in a good location, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the city and helpful when we had questions. The place was very clean and comfortable and the lockers were really big, which was nice.

Disliked: If you're looking for the kind of hostel where you can meet people to go out with, this is not the hostel for you. Most of the people we shared a room with were much older than us and if it was past 10 PM you had to be quiet in the room because someone would be sleeping. The hallways were dark during the day, making it seem like you had to whisper, even at 2 in the afternoon. This hostel is great for those people who aren't trying to go out at night.

Liked: Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Bathrooms were quite spacious and the water pressure (and temperature) were great.

Liked: The design and colors are amazing. The showers are also fantastic, which was not only surprising but also very refreshing after staying in other hostels with crappy showers for a week. The staff is very friendly, and the kitchen facilities are really legit.

Disliked: No problems with the actual hostel, but I wish there had been more noise control-quiet hours. Teenage girls were acting like 10 year olds, screaming, making animal noises and bothering other travellers in the bathroom until 2 am

Liked: Pretty cheap and colorful. Clean sheets.

Disliked: They will not let you bring beer in the hostal at all, they will confiscate it. They have a bar inside but it is closed most of the day and they even shut down the whole lounge/bar one night to accomadate something the guests of the hostel where not invited to... The reception staff does not know the city very well either, and gave bad directions.

Liked: The best Hostel that I have been :) Clean and comfortable rooms; great place to talk and drinks something and vert well located.

Liked: The way the hostel looks is lovely. I loved the colours and the furniture. The staff speaks English fluently and is more than friendly and helpful.

Disliked: It wasn' t quite clear who is supposed to sleep in which room. There were several people claiming that they have a bed in our room although everything was full. This caused sudden passport control several times during the night and prevented me from sleeping.

Liked: I loved being surrounded by people all over the world! The staff was very nice and the facilities were excellent!

Disliked: If someone in your room is a noicy sleeper... I didn't sleep that well. Logical because i slept in a room with 8 people. When I come back it will be in a room with less people.

Liked: The bar was a great place to meet people and the staff was very friendly. Free coffee and tea all day was a plus as well. The showers were the best Ive had in a hostel... all of them had waterfall showerheads which was a very pleasant surprise.

Disliked: You need to bring your own lock for the lockers. Also space was pretty limited in the 10 person dorm... we were constantly climbing over eachother. Breakfast is 2 euro and only includes toast and cereal, not entirely worth it. Other than that everything else was great.

Liked: Well located hostel with a very helpful, professional staff there 24 hours. Everything was very clean and there is a comfortable common space to meet people and a kitchen to cook in. Hair dryer in the bathrooms.

Disliked: Wasn't crazy about the decorating scheme, but not a big deal.

Liked: Really nice place to stay - close to the centre of the city & sights, clean rooms that weren't too cramped, big, clean communal bathrooms, really friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Nothing at all! The only thing I had trouble with (not the hostel's fault but just as a warning) was the walking tour and flamenco & tapas tour - for both I turned up at the waiting places and nobody was there. If you're planning on doing them maybe ask someone at the staff to check they're on - the staff are really friendly!!! But I can't flaw this hostel at all
