Purple Nest Hostel

The Purple Nest Hostel is a new and friendly hostel inspired by our experiences of travelling around the world as backpackers like you. Our experienced and multilingual staff will help you discover the hotspots of charming Valencia.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars and sights and sounds of Valencia. We will also get you anything you need including free city maps and information and reservations for walking tours and bike rental.

Our bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town, and enjoy the great atmosphere of Valencia.

This is the only hostel in Valencia with air-conditioning in the rooms at night and a hostel bar to meet other travellers just like you! It is right in the city centre and just a short bus or metro ride from the beach. The most refreshing hostel in Valencia!

Special Events Booking FALLAS 2012
**Please note that for the Fallas Festival we require a minimum 4 days booking, from 15/03/2012 until 18/03/2012 inclusive. We will charge the full amount of the booking to your credit card. Cancellations will be accepted until 15/02/2012. After that date, no refunds will be given.

Special Events Booking FORMULA 1 2012
**Please note that for the F1 Grand Prix we require a minimum stay of 4 nights, from 21/06/2012 until 24/06/2012 inclusive. We will charge the full amount of the booking to your credit card. Cancellations will be accepted until 31/05/2012. After that date, no refunds will be given.

You may cancel your reservation without incurring in any penalty by giving at least 48hrs notice prior to the check in time (2 pm) of the date of arrival; in this case your deposit will be refunded through the same channel you processed the payment with. In case of giving shorter notice the deposit of the first night of your accommodation will be retained with no exceptions. Changes to the date or length of your reservations are also subject to a 48hour notice prior to the check in time of the date of arrival. Further changes once you are already checked in are also subject to the same 48hrs notice policy prior to the 2 pm check in time.

Accommodation Information

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds. The dorms are female or mixed. Big, clean, communal (single sex) bathrooms are located on each floor. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. and check in is anytime after 13:00 p.m.

Note that air conditioning/heating in the rooms will be on only in the night.

IMPORTANT:

Guests need to show a valid passport or official ID (valid in Europe) at the check in. We are not allowed to have any guests without these documents.

The following documents are not valid to enter the hostel: American driving license, photocopy of a passport, student cards, library cards or transport passes.

Anyone above 35 years of age will be required to book private rooms only.

Location Information

We are located in the heart of Valencia’s city center, in a quiet square near the river Turia (now the biggest green area in the city) and just a few minutes walk from the city’s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilica, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen). We are well connected to the beach, to the train station, and to the City of Arts and Sciences.

We are close to the best places to go out, from traditional tapas bars to the hippest nightlife. We are in the middle of a characteristic area of the town, between the commercial area and the bohemian el Carmen district.
