From the airport
There is a metro service between 06.00 and 23.55 from the airport to the city center. Single ticket costs 2,90 euros. In the center you get off at Xàtiva, just in front of the train station Valencia Nord. It takes aproximately 20 minutes to get there.
From Xàtiva follow our directions from the train station Valencia Nord.
You can also take a taxi which will cost you approximately between 15 and 20 euros and will take around 15 minutes.
From the train station Valencia Nord
Aproximately 10 minutes walk.
From the main exit of the train station Valencia Nord walk straight ahead to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Walk past the fountain (leaving it on your right) until you get to the Citibank. Take the Avenida Maria Cristina located on your left until you reach the Central Market. On your right you'll see the old silk market “Lonja de la Seda”. Take the steps next to the Lonja. At the end, just before you reach the Plaza del Collado you'll see on your left Home Youth Hostel.
From the train station Joaquin Sorolla
Outside, at the main exit you'll see a yellow/black bus, which is for free with your train ticket, that takes you to the train station Valencia Nord.
You can also walk 10 minutes following the tracks until you reach the train station Valencia Nord.
From there follow our directions from the train station Valencia Nord.
From the bus station
Take bus n.8 outside the bus station and get off at Plaza de la Reina. On your right you'll see a McDonald's. Take Calle Correjería (which is next to McDonald's) until it finishes; then turn left into Calle de la Purísima. Go straight into Calle de la Estameñería Vieja until you reach a little square called Plaza del Dr. Collado. Once on the square, you'll see Café Lisboa and Bar El Kiosco on your left hand side. On the opposite building you'll see the Home Youth Hostel logo. The hostel entrance is on the left side of the building.
From the port
Once outside the port, go straight towards Avenida de Francia (5 minutes walk) and catch a bus no.19. Get off at Plaza del Ayuntamiento (the main square). Walk past the fountain (leaving it on your right) until you get to the Citibank. Take the Avenida Maria Cristina located on your left until you reach the Central Market. On your right you´ll see the old silk market “Lonja de la Seda”. Take the steps next to the Lonja. At the end, just before you reach the Plaza del Collado you'll see on your left Home Youth Hostel.
