Liked: big kitchen and nice common area at the last floor. great to meet people

Disliked: my room was out near the street, my room was also very dark and looked not friendly at all.

Liked: I usually don't like big hostels like this but this one was lovely. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They only have a small check in so I had to wait some as a group of Americans had just arrived. They compensated with free breakfast. Also, I got upgraded to a better room for free- that was nice. The kitchen is big and got everything you need. A supermarket is nearby. The bar upstairs was really popular, drinks are cheap and you always find good company. However, if you wanna chill and need and early night, I still found a quiet corner to read and later slept easily.

Liked: I really enjoyed my time at Red Nest Hostel in Valencia. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and cheerful as were the bathrooms. Red Nest is a great place for meeting people.

Liked: Location! Literally close to everything you want to see!

Disliked: The staff could be a bit more helpful and I felt like we were interupting them at times. I also didnt appericiate their lack of response to noise complaints.

Liked: We loved this experience! The rooms were excellent, the restrooms clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of staff if you needed help. We paid for a 12 room but was moved to a 6 room for the same price.

Liked: Building was pretty impressive, great communal areas.

Disliked: It became uncomfortably hot in the rooms and generally everywhere and would really benefit from air conditioning.

Liked: Everything! The staff is nice and friendly, it's very clean. The atmoshere was really wonderful. This place got spirit! :) And one of the most iportant things is the best location.

Liked: great location, great mix of people and all the staff were super nice. In particular the barman Diarmuid was really attentitive. He really involved everyone by getting them to play games and then taking everyone out together for a night out so you felt in good hands and safe, as well as making friends with other people in the hostel. This really added to my visit as I wasn't expecting to have so much fun and he organised it all, and really made sure everyone was having a good time. He was also super friendly and knowledgable about Valencia. The reception staff were also very helpful, especially Danilo who was really friendly and gave me directions to the sights. Really good place with some excellent staff.

Disliked: nothing!

Liked: I liked the location, price, the staff, and the overall ambience of the place. It's within walking distance to all the major sites in Valencia, but Valencia is not a big town anyways, so walking is not a big issue.

Disliked: They didn't have breakfast. They have a kitchen, but you have to make your own meals.

Liked: Free internet upstairs is great, big airy rooms right in the centre of town

Disliked: The staff were quite abrupt when you asked advice - when asking directions etc were very vague and sometimes wrong. Not very helpful

Liked: Everything was very clean and new, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, nice big common spaces. Located right in the centro, a very nice secure area.

Disliked: It's a large place and seemed to cater mostly to big groups (some of them older as well, a little weird). It wasn't a place to meet people, which as a solo traveller was a little disappointing. I'd say it's great if you are in a large group but wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a homey atmosphere to meet people. Also, the staff wasn't that friendly. It's located right in the centro, perfect if you want the tourist experience but as someone already familiar with the country and looking for a slightly cheaper/more flavorful experience, I could take or leave the centro.

Liked: The location was perfect for seeing most of the sites in Valencia. Right near the Catedral, the shops, the cafes and bars, good restaurants and a good walk to all the science and architecture around Valencia

Disliked: The bathrooms were very dirty. There wasn't much atmosphere at the hostel, though there was a common room and a great kitchen, the atmosphere was dull and boring. Tthis might have been because of the people staying, not too sure ...

Liked: Washing only cost 3 euros, big common area in the attic, sun terrace, kitchen was big, rooms big, lift,

Disliked: showers have automatic cut off, doors on showers didnt lock, water gets under the door all over the floor, kitchen and common room shut at midnight, curtains weren´t blackout, no shutters so got light very early, very very noisy from the road traffic, have to pay for internet
