Liked: Nice place, nice people

Disliked: Staff did not do enough to ensure quiet in common areas late at night< door slams every time anyone leaves...put a damper on it!

Liked: Good location. The bathrooms and showers were shared by floor but were very clean. The room was comfortable and decently clean. The staff was helpful and friendly and the pub crawl offered by the hostel was very fun! The kitchen/lounge area was pretty cool. It's a very well-managed hostel.

Disliked: The directions to the hostel are far from helpful.

Liked: Great location, near the river park and the central plaza. The only site that you might want to take the bus to is the City of Arts and Science, but the walk isn't too bad (you can go straight along the river park to it). Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and the rooftop terrace is a really chill place to meet people.

Disliked: That the lockers didn't come with locks. They're nice and big for storage, but obviously worthless for security unless you pay for a lock. I stayed in the 6-person dorm in low-season, though, so I didn't have any worries about theft (there were only two or three other people in the room, and the rooms are keycard access). And breakfast would have been nice, but the hostel is close to the central market so you can just get a supercheap breakfast over there.

Liked: It's all new and colorful with lots of free services and promotes sharing.

Liked: Very good, clean hostel, very friendly staff. Great atmosphere!

Disliked: Maybe a bit noisy in the nighttime, but that's normal when you live in a city.

Liked: the terrace, kitchen facilities and the bright clean rooms were great. free internet and very helpful staff. We are very glad we stayed here

Liked: Very large backpackers and situated right near the best places to go. Staff were very knowlegable and helpful with what to see and all transport. Free internet was good too with nice common areas all around the hostel. The roof terrece was also a nice place.

Disliked: Were each given a locker in the room, however there were no locks on them. They had to be purchased for 3 Euro.

Liked: Cheap, free internet access, nice with smaller dorms. Big kitchen.

Disliked: Loud and noisy, much noise from the streets also. Not the best option for travellers in need of quiet.

Liked: The kitchen and its facility which offers you to cook for yourself and no one is depending on someone.

Disliked: The cleanliness was not good sometimes in the washrooms.

Liked: Home Backpackers was in a very lively area and easy to find. The kitchen was huge and the rooftop terrace was nice. It was easy to get from A-B in the city.

Disliked: On the saturday night we were there someone came into our room looking for his bed. It was obvious that someone was there that should not have been. We went to reception to help him and were told that sometimes this happens as people are to move rooms but they dont. When we returned that night at 3am the guy was alseep in my bed and he told me that the receptionish had stripped my bed and he was to sleep there. I had to go through dirty linnen to find my stuff that had been thrown away and then strip another persons bed to sleep in it, as the receptionist now on didnt want to disturb anyone. As a result I was woken up at 7am by a very drunk man trying to get into the bunk. I was very unimpressed and all they could say in the morning was...this happens sometimes.

Disliked: Not enough plugs and aggressive cleaners! Squeaky beds.
