Liked: Great kitchen, great location only a block from del carmen, great rooftop terrace and just an all around awesome atmosphere

Liked: In the center of the city. A great place to meet people. The staff are very helpful. It was cheap.

Disliked: Showers weren't the greatest but when are they. The directions to get to the hostel are a bit confusing as it tells you to look for a shop which seems to be no longer there or has changed names and makes it a choice of like 4 different roads to pick to see which one the hostel is down.

Liked: The hostel is located in the heart of the historic centre and close to the main nightlife streets. Good beds, frree internet and very nice staff. The bathrooms were very good too. Shower rooms are spacious and had 24 hour hot water.The open terrace was great, but the weather wasn't as good, so couldn't enjoy it much.

Disliked: No breakfast on offer. The location may be a little hard to find due to the intricate network of narrow streets in the historic centre, but check out the route on google streetview beforehand and you will be fine. Saturday night was very noisy from the streets outside as people were partying hard.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful and the the hostel was how it was described.

Disliked: I emailed them to cancel one night, but was almost charged the full amount although I did it in advance because they didn't receive the email. But the staff was nice and we worked it out.

Liked: I liked the ambiance here, I always felt safe and it was in a good location.

Disliked: could do with some sort of social area inside. Too big , a bit difficult to mix with people

Liked: Everybody was very friendly, a great place to meet people if travelling alone! The staff were also very helpful and there was always somebody at the reception desk.

Disliked: The showers!! Either freezing cold or boiling hot and couldnt take a decent shower!

Liked: right in barrio el carmen,close to anything both must-to-see attractions and bars/pubs..quite cheap and free internet..would u like something more??

Disliked: sometimes too many flies flying in the kitchen due to open windows in the morning...

Liked: Oh, everything, it was clean and had a very friendly atmosfere. I really liked it. They had a big roof terass where you could hang out with new intressting people. And the kitchen was awesome!¡!

Liked: The atmosphere and location. Very helpful staff and good size kitchen/lounge area. Clean rooms and comfy beds.

Disliked: No area in the hostel to socialise past 12pm.

Liked: Excellent location and very nice hostel overall. Good place to meet other travelers. Also central location ensures that getting around is painless.

Disliked: Lockers in rooms aren't great but do the job with a little bit of brute force.

Liked: Everything especially cleaning is wonderful if you do not forget that it is a hostel..

Liked: staff was friendly, the people around the hostel seemed used to giving directions to it.

Disliked: bad naighborhood, and the place was almost imposible to find in a mess of tiny streets with spraypaint all over them.

Liked: The rooftop terrace is amazing!! Such a great place to get some sun and meet cool people.

Disliked: Although I know there is no time limits here, people would be excessivley loud in the hallway and their rooms at all hours and no one would stop it. I found the general vibe of people to be very very bad for the first week but there was a complete change over and everyone was amazing. Also, they kick you off the roof at 10pm and then theres really no where else to go if you dont want to spend money on a bar or club.

Liked: this is basically a church-based hostel. I am so amazed by its indoor phenomena, and the bold red warm color lights up the whole hostel. I was actually abit afraid of 16-beds room but OMG, the room is just as cosy as a private standard room!!!! it divides into 2 spaces so that it won't look crowded and the kitchens it provide look amazing!!! plus it provides free cookies =) ohh, the shower room is quite nice and clean!!! free wifi of course!! they even provide vending machines and you can buy drinks whenever you feel thirsty!

Disliked: none so far.

Liked: Kitchen was nice. Large lockers in the room for luggage. Free computers with internet in the lobby.

Disliked: Coed bathrooms were a bit strange for me. The rooms were huge but mine smelled really bad. I needed to do the laundry and the staff were very unhelpful.

Liked: it was exactly like on the pictures, great staff, great atmosphere and location is perfect, in the center of valencia. just great!!!

Disliked: nothing much, it was a little bit loud, but i didn't mind it at all

Liked: The kitchen, except it closed at 12pm and then there was no place to hang out with people in the hostel. The location was good.

Disliked: Very noisy! I felt like I could hear everything in the hostel. There were always people outside drinking loudly or in the hostel itself.

Liked: Everything!! I've stayed at over 150 hostels in the last 2 1\2 years and this is one of, if not the, best. Sure, some folks will find minor details to bitch about but c'mon people, get real, we're paying less than $20 dollars for a simple [shared !] home away from home.If you want privacy and perfection then go buy it at the 'Marriot' or 'Hyatt regency' for $250 a night..This place is great.

Disliked: They probably have a good reason for locking up the roof terrace at 10pm [Safety, consideration for the neighbours] but we would have loved to drink another bottle of red and play a couple more tunes on the guitar while smoking a couple of ciggies [ It's the only place (obviously) that you can smoke ] but no biggie...you get to counter balance the smoking with some exercise by running down 3 floors to the street [There IS an elevator for those who want to descend in style ;) ]
