Liked: It was a very comfortable place to stay with very helpful owner. The localization was good, very close to the beach and conditions as well. For such a low price we received great service and peacuful place to stay. I totally recommend this partment for everyone.

Liked: relatively close to the beach

Disliked: Misleading discription online, dissapointing standards of the place as a whole, appealing state of the facilities (including bathroom and kitchen), shocking levels of dirtiness, virtually no privacy and frustrating lack of professionalism from the host. In general, t seemed to us that the accomodation was being used by the host as a source of easy income, with absolutely no personal effort or financial investment going back into the property. Ultimately, this effected in a very awkward and uncomfortable experience which, in our opinion, was not worth the average of €5/day savings (when compared to some other offers).

Liked: We had a fantastic time. Its a nice apartment with everything we needed and close to the beach. It was very quiet and this suited us perfectly after having stayed at hostels before! Thanks to Nial who helped us with all our enquiries. Will stay again

Liked: The property is a top floor apartment just outside Valencia City Centre. It's a 20 minute underground/tram journey (with one change) from the shops and main attractions, though if you're looking for a beach holiday then it's the ideal location as the beach is about 5 minutes away. It's possible to walk to the city of arts and sciences too but it's a bit of a hike. The local area has a few little shops for food and basic supplies if needed. The WiFi was very useful in planning our trips into the city and the owner was extremely helpful with all questions and assistance we needed, both in the property and the area. I can't speak highly enough of Nial who was very accomodating the whole time we were there.

Disliked: There's nothing I really disliked about the apartment but there are probably a few things people should be aware of. The owner lives in the apartment so you're essentially staying at someone's home which doesn't bother me but could make some uncomfortable. The area is quite poor and run down - don't expect the same surroundings as if you were staying in the heart of Valencia which is more modern, or other more tourist orientated areas of Spain. It's not the Ritz, or even the Holiday Inn, but if you're looking for a very cheap base that you're not likely to spend much time in anyway then you won't find a better bargain than the Beach Apartment.

Liked: Owner (Niall) was very welcoming and friendly, even joined us for a few wines at a favoured local. Location 5 minutes from Valencia beach, 2 mins walk to bus stops into town, 5 minutes walk to metro, all easy to find and quick and painless way into city centre. Nice to be in a flat situation, felt more of a home stay than a hostel. All in all a very pleasant and positive stay in Valencia.

Liked: Close to the beach, and close to the metro for getting into the city center. Around Semana Santa, right in the middle of the processions. Owner is very welcoming and had everything we needed in the apartment. Kitchen has lots of appliances if you want to cook.

Liked: Very nice place with helpful staff. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious room. Wouldn't find better place to stay for this money! I recommend this hostel to all of you!

Liked: Free Wifi and large kitchen as well rooftop terrace.

Disliked: The place was freezing! The owner kept all windows open all the time. The bed had only one thin blanket. The shower ran out of hot water after 5 minutes. Not what we expected when we arrived and the owner was rude when we wanted to shorten our stay. The walls are paper thin.

Liked: It´s nice location, easy to reach by bus 19. Has only 2 double rooms to rent so it was quiet, although walls are very thin.

Disliked: Whach out, they don´t accept credit cards just cash! This was a problem for us. Place stinks like old canalization but you quickly get used to it. When you arrive ring the bell for last flour (4), rest of the flat has other private apartments.

Liked: Everything here was great. It has a kitchen, a bathroom with all the facilities necessary & the owner is extremely polite & friendly. We spent about two weeks here & it's been a great time. Valencia is awesome & the area it's in is close to the beach, supermarket, pharmacy & various other goings on that attribute to the convenience of the location. The owner was nice enough to keep in contact with us and picked us up from the train-station to drive us to the building.

Liked: Location - 10 minutes walk to the beach. The apartment was spacious

Disliked: The apartment in which we stayed was rather dirty (especially the kitchen - upon arrival we were the only guests and the kitchen was quite messy). And the bathroom could use a good hand, as well.
