Liked: Nice place, big beach, nice forest near the camp, nice bungalows

Disliked: train track directly besides the camping site, some bungalows are only 10 metres next to it - so it's very loud there. And those are in the some categorie like those which are very close to the beach.

Liked: A great 4 bed bungalow for few euros! As a single traveller they would let me have the whole bungalow for myself and only let me pay for 1 person!! Great. It s located directly on the great Llarge Beach. And the acces to Las Palmeras is very easy by bus from Tarragona.

Liked: Perfect place to stay with friends and family. Our bungalow was amazingly clean and provided just the right amount of privacy. A short walk from the beach and any shops on the campground. The locals were friendly and helpful. Very busy during the weekends and super quiet during the week.

Disliked: Facilities were closed during the week.

Liked: Location- it is directly on the beach, a nicer area than beaches in Tarragona that are somewhat polluted from the ships. Very nice and friendly staff. Great deal for a mini house all to yourself! Very family friendly but I DO NOT recommend staying there unless you will have a car.

Disliked: We encountered several problems: -The bus stop to go from the train station to the campsite is very far away and difficult to find without additional directions; the bus is not convenient to use overall because it runs inconsistently and the last bus is at 10:15 pm, meaning you have to get an early bird dinner by Spain's standards. -The O'Hara bungalows are a 20 minute walk from the reception area and bus stops. -On arrival, we were told there were "probably" sheets in our bungalow, and to call if we didn't have them. There were no sheets, and there was also no phone- so we had to walk 20 minutes to go get the sheets and 20 minutes back to the bungalow. There should be phones to contact reception since you are so far away! -Additionally, when we tried to leave our bungalow, the door would not lock. On our trip to get sheets and notify them of our lock problem, we had to leave our bungalow with all our luggage unlocked which was nerve-racking. Two people were sent over and finally showed us the step of turning the doorknob that no one told us about. -The next morning, our toilet would not work. This was eventually remedied, but an added frustration within the first day of arriving when we would have liked to be spending our time on the beach. Also, only one roll of toilet paper was provided for our entire stay. -The policies of Las Palmeras are not clear at all. The 50 Euro deposit you leave is actually a security and cleanliness deposit- we almost didn't get it back for leaving dirty dishes! These policies may have been printed in Spanish but were never explained to us English speakers. Additionally, if people are expected to do dishes soap and a sponge must be provided! -We told them several times that we would be checking out very early, but when we went to check out at 5 am they told us our bungalow had to get checked which took additional time and almost made us late for our train.

Liked: I like the ambiance on the camping place. The Bungalows are wonderful and also the staff - always ready to help.

Liked: The kitchen was fully equiped, the beds were cosy, the bathroom and toilet were nice and clean, close to beach, peaceful.

Disliked: Problems with hot water, long distance to shop.

Liked: It´s a camping site. Nice to relax at the beach. Unfortunately they gave me the last bungalow up in the forest....far away from everything. No chance to meet people if you are travelling alone. I recommend that place if you are at least 2 persons!

Liked: Bungalow to myself after 7weeks in hostels was AMAZING, such a bargin for 18euros!!!!!! Slept 4people and all new kitchen bathroom, all self contained, patio with the sound of the waves was perfect!Walking distance to all needed, beach, shops, internet!20mins bus ride from town, totally recommend to all travellers!!!!!!

Liked: I loved having my own house, the grocery store was right there, the beach was GORGEOUS! The staff was soooo friendly, the location was perfect! I absolutely loved it and I´m planning on coming back this summer!
