Liked: it's in the centre, clean, the stuff is good, though English isn't its forte.The sink in the room is a pleasant surprise.

Disliked: Of course,no kitchen and no breakfasts are what displeasedThe bells REALLY RING EVERY SINGLE HALF AN HOUR:)))But that was OK about us.

Liked: The room was spacious

Disliked: The staff was rude, unfriendly and did not speak English. One lady even began to shout at me because she could not understand me. Lock down by midnight and you cannot even speak after that, the place echos and in the morning the staff are so loud.

Disliked: It can be a bit noisy as the house is noisy and the area can be a bit too.

Liked: Amazing family owns this hostel. They are very friendly and nice. The location is right in the heart of the old city, which is the place to be. Rooms are beautiful with plenty of character. There's no internet, but there's a cafe a minute away with cheap beer, food and free wifi. Remember though, if you stay anywhere in the old city, and you should, bring ear plugs. The church bells ring constantly.

Liked: The property is in a fabulous location directly in the old part of the town of Tarifa, within walking distance of everything; the port, beach, shops, bars and restaurants are all a stones throw away. It is a very laid back environment and although the staff are friendly and helpful they happily leave you to come an go as you please. The building is simple but has character and the rooms (number 8) are spatious, clean and you get what you pay for (ie. a clean room and veranda to come back to, sleep and chill out). We very much enjoyed our stay at the Correos Guesthouse.

Disliked: If there is one thing negative I could say about the Correos is that it's ridiculously close to the San Mateo Church which has it's bells ringing every hour, quarter past the hour, half past the hour and quater to the hour - from early until late....BUT you get used to it.

Liked: The guesthouse is in a prime location in the centre of Tarifa town and one of the main squares. It is good value for money, clean and down to earth and as a group we all thought it was ideal.

Liked: I was really disappointet in this "Guesthouse". The Staff didn't speak a word english. There was no internet, which was very anoying 'cause there are almoust no Internetcoffees in town. It's a lot too expensive for what you get.

Liked: Friendly staff, felt like a family-run operation. Great location in the old town. We were in room #7 which was light and airy and had an outdoor terrace area (although they had washing hanging up there most of the time). Only drawback is that on the weekend the nearby church bells seemed to ring every 15 minutes from 6am. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: this hostel has a lovely atmosfere, the staff are very gentle and helpful, the service is very good: all the sheets and towels are clean and the big rooms are in Spanish style. there is just one bad thing: the church bells are not so far from the hotel.
