Disliked: the lady in the reception (the guys were nice), if you want to use a locker you need to have your own padlock (??!!), almost nothing included in price, but in general not bad..

Liked: Not very much. Nice location I guess.

Disliked: The staff is terrible! They run the business very poorly and they are not helpful at all. Worst hostel Ive stayed at during my trip.

Liked: lots of clean showers, kitchen, decent staff. contrary to what many of the reviews here say, this place isn´t that bad...

Liked: It was a great location. Close to bus stop, beach, grocery store, information center, shops, etc. Fairly clean.

Disliked: Kind of dark, not much for a common room. staff weren't very helpful or friendly. rooms were pretty crammed. kind of pricey for what it offered.

Liked: Don´t know why so many bad reviews! it´s cheap and the ladys work dam hard to keep the place clean,basic but cant pick any faults, good location and you get what you pay for, 18e my own room bargain in Tarifa

Disliked: May be i could complain that the toilets had an old school pull chain flush but hey it still worked!

Liked: Cheap no nonsense. Close to centre

Disliked: Almost impossible to get to sleep. I was in the annexe and the hostel made no effort to enforce a notice which said no noise between 12 and 5 am. Young people were noisy and drunk coming back at 5 am from the pubs.

Liked: The people at the reception desk were not overly helpful, or happy. Could have done with a breakfast too...Still, Tarifa is an amazing place!

Liked: The hostel isn't too far from the bus station at all. It's not super close to the port but definitely walking distance. It's located on a street with a lot of clothing/surf shops. The lady who checked us in wasn't too friendly; in fact, she was rather short with us. They kept one of our passports during our stay, which I didn't like. The size of the room is pretty standard, we didn't feel that the hostel was as clean as it could've been, and the water pressure was pretty weak. The walls were thin and one of the beds was creaky. This would be an ok place to stay for a night or 2 but not longer.
