Liked: the dinners they offer at night!

Disliked: kinda awkward how my room had 2 people on one side of a partition and then 6 people on another side...I was in the 6 person side but I would have felt left out on the other side!

Liked: It was in a mansion! how much better is living in a house-hostel than living in an apartment or flat? the 5 euro dinners were all superb and a great deal, the place was clean, the staff helpful and they even let me use the kitchen of the rental property they own to cook and hang out in. also, the location is great, right near the barrio alto, the shopping areas and major landmarks of lisbon

Disliked: i was moved to a smaller room the 3rd night but had to pay more, and the toilet didnt work. also, they play music till late at night, and there arent any free walking tours offered. no worries though.

Liked: Good location. A little difficult to find at first but it's very near the cathedral, the river, the alfalfa district. Very clean! Free internet. Free sangria or beer on arrival.

Disliked: A little difficult to meet people. As I was traveling alone I really was hoping to meet some people in the hostel but my room was full of very quiet people that didn't really talk to anyone outside their group.

Liked: I like the organisation of the hostel. The staff organises parties and trips around the city. I went with them to see flamenco. It was so fun! I also like the terrace for the breakfast and the lounge for cocktail and dinner

Disliked: My bedroom was for six. It was too small!

Liked: Community events, like tapas tour and free flamenco or homemade paella for dinner.

Disliked: The shower that didn't drain and the moldy shower curtain

Liked: The location is very good. The room and bathroom are clean. There is a safe in the room so that you can save your valuable things there.

Disliked: It's too noisy. The room which I got has the door to the reception place and next to the bar. My bed is under the window and the curtain is not long enough to cover the whold glass, so there is always light to the bed. You can hear people talking outside throughout the night.

Liked: Everything - the staff were friendly, there wasplenty on offer that we could take part in and the location was brilliant once we knew how to get to the Giralda. The room was large for a hostel with a very nice bathroom. And there was also free internet to email back home!!

Disliked: nothing - being in a hostel, you expect some noise.

Liked: centre of town, excellent helpful staff, free walking tour and tapas and free flamenc tours were excellent. clean and i was very impressed. 24hr reception is a big help.

Disliked: more internet would be good - 4 computers amongst this many people can be challenging.

Liked: Great people and staff, always ready to help. Felt very safe and it was really good all the events they put on to get a good feel for the city. Definitely would return to this hostel again.

Disliked: Difficult hostel to find, the directions on the email could be better. And (through no fault of it's own) it's a shame that it overlooks a bizaare construction site.

Liked: Amazing place. One of the best, clean hostels I've ever stayed in. Staff is so helpful, bar is great, breakfast is tasty, tours are lovely.Definitely would come back.

Liked: The small swimming pool on the roof terrace was amazing, and all the rest was great. I didn't join the parties they organised so can't rate that but the atmosphere there was great.The walking tour with Becky was really nice too.
