Liked: The reception staff are incredibly helpful, and the free breakfast, free internet, free phone etc were fantastic.

Liked: Friendly staff and central location.

Disliked: There was an error in the booking system which resulted in me staying in the sister property. Although this was only a short walk away, it prevented me from meeting new people, which is one of the reasons for checking into a hostel. I'm not having a go at the srtaff, as they were extremely apologetic about the situatution, but the booking system needs to be fixed!

Liked: Good location, no street noise, friendly, multilingual and helpful staff. Free tea and coffe a nice touch (and free breakfast)

Disliked: Our room was right next to reception and very noisy all day and night, especially breakfast time when everyone was eating outside the door. air con did not work. There was an interlocking door between our room and next door which meant that we could have gone in and cleaned them out had we been so inclined (just a bolt on our side of the door). Also meant that we could hear every snore or cough from their room.

Liked: the staff was sooo friendly and unbelievably helpful! the hostal is very well equipped, and it's VERY difficult to find a negative point!

Disliked: when it's cold outside (as in: 9° Celsius that is), you could wake up during the night and find out that you're freezing :-) but then again, there are extra blankets in the closet! the breakfast room is also a bit cold when it's about that temperature outside. these are SMALL DETAILS!

Liked: The staff is very friendly

Disliked: the hostal is old and dirty. the price is too high for the low level service. The breakfast is free, but it is available in the hostal hall and is impossible to manage 30 people in only 20 sqm!!!

Liked: Location is great and old antique building gives a very nice atmosphere, but the staff is what I;ve remebered the best - very nice and helpfull!!!! Keep going!!!! Ohg and breakfast included with so good rate :)

Disliked: A small disadvantage are small rooms with tiny bathrooms but you can not do it better in the building like this ;)

Liked: good value for money! free internet, breakfast, free coffee the whole day, ... very nice staff giving advice what places in sevilla to see, where to eat etc.

Disliked: well, the rooms actually weren't that pretty (but it's ok, at least they were clean)

Liked: The very friendly and helpful staff. I felt it was good value for money because of the generous breakfast, free internet and the free cups of tea, and coffee throughout the day. I also liked the building which was in a converted palace and had character.

Disliked: I stayed in a nine bed dorm, which was fine apart from the fact that there was another single bedroom adjoining the dorm. The people in that room came in late at night and made a lot of noise opening and closing their door. My bed was close to their door; they kept the light on until after two in the morning - it had a glass door I could not sleep with the light on, On Sunday night I asked them to put it out, but they refused.

Liked: The Italian lady at the front desk is incredibly helpful and very nice.

Disliked: Cold showers, noisy. Some of the staff did not speak very good English and were not so friendly.

Liked: Nothing, it destroyed the good atmosphere of Sevilla!The dishes of the breakfast are cleaned in a sink by hands at the moment!People with a shared room were better treated than us that were paying more for having more facilities!!!

They took joke about us because they did not refund to us the right amount of money and they are still not answering to our reclaims by E-mail!!!

Liked: staff were very approachable and friendly; free wifi; nicely laid out free breakfast in the morning; location is 5 mins walk to cathedral and right off the main shopping street

Disliked: the rooms were a bit faded and worn. the only communal area was the main foyer (with some sofas); the 'kitchen' was only a microwave and a fridge.

Liked: Free computer usage and WiFi, free calls to the US, Europe and Canada, free breakfast, VERY friendly and funny staff (Ines!!), great location, free coffee/tea machine, comfy beds, good-tasting water :) always a bathroom available even though there weren't many.

Disliked: BIG bug crawling on the wall beside my bed one night... WITH the lights on... also I was in the room where there are 9 beds and so people were coming in and out at all hours, turning on and off the bright overhead lights. Also, we had hot water the first day but not the next 2 days.

Liked: employees friendly, helpful, spoke english, good location, really good written description on hostelbookers.com on how to find the place--thank goodness, access to computer with internet, walking tour guide came right to hostel, breakfast was basic but nice

Disliked: water storage tanks next to top floor rooms were noisy, ran all night, no hot water in showers. door lock on room at top of stairs is difficult to open--it needs adjustment

Liked: location was EXCELLENT, walking distance from everything you want to see. staff were welcoming and very helpful too (and friendly) offering a great city tour that is not very touristy but more fun! free breakfast is always nice and generous with free coffee/tea/hot choc all day. definately recommend staying there!

Disliked: our room was next to communal bathrooms which was a bit noisy but that was all.

Liked: not much. location and the rooftop was okay.

Disliked: The rooms were not very nice. I noticed cockroaches. Overall the pictures shown on the site led me to believe it would be a nicer accomodation for the Euros that it cost me to stay there.

Liked: quiet, three free computers with internet

Disliked: hostal is worn and run down, not clean, room air conditioner was caked with dust, cold showers, mattress spring dug into my back when sleeping
