Liked: All good. Small. Open late for registering. Quiet. Do not have to vacate room till 1200 noon. Surrounded by good eating places in pleasant area near plaza. Can walk down to centre of city.

Disliked: Very difficult to find! Down a very small alleyway. No in-hostal food of any kind though eating places very close. Not sure of answer to question 7.

Liked: Good location, clean, attractive building. good sized rooms and good value for the price

Disliked: not very friendly staff. very quiet for a hostel with no kitchen, common area, book exchange - all that you expect in a hostel. Lis is a very quiet small hotel rather than a hostel. Fine if the most important thing is your lodgings, as it was for us on this trip, but not great for meeting people and having the 'hostel experience'

Liked: Fantastic typical Sevillano patio and decor. Room was cleaned and towels were changed every day.

Disliked: Water took a while to heat up. Other than that, no dislikes.

Liked: A good 15 minute walk from the Santa Justa rail station.Please have a good map as the hostal is down an alley way rather than on the street - but extremely quiet which is a bonusNot many rooms so not many other guests -but I didn't need thatI had the small room at the back -double bed, good desk and closet, shower (HOT water 24 hours).Generally basic but exactly what I was looking for and I would definitely return and recommend this for any other single traveller wanting a great base. I felt very safe walking back at night but then I never wander aimlessly and felt the whole City was safe.Thank you for having this on your web site

Disliked: I hope they have some heating when it really gets colder as the room was chilly now mid November and 7 degrees at night I didn't notice if Hostel Bookers was promoted or not -to answer your next queston

Liked: The main advantage to this hostel is its location which is fairly central. It also felt private and was quiet, the only issue with noise was from outside. It was also very clean - our room and bathroom were cleaned everyday and fresh towels laid out. Some of the staff were friendly and courteous but the main guy who was there the majority of the time was very unfriendly.

Disliked: Upon our arrival the guy who greeted us was very short and barely said more than two words to us the whole time we stayed there. The staff could therefore have been much more friendly. Our room had a small balcony which unfortunately looked out on an alleyway so there was no light from outside and our room felt a bit like a cave. I felt the website was misleading on this point. Also, the shutters did not shut properly which meant cold air came straight in at night and also meant it was rather noisy at night with people going past etc.

Liked: Having Air-conditioning was brilliant. Staff were very helpful and tolerated my very limited Spanish. Location is brilliant walking distance to all the major sights of Sevilla.

Disliked: Moved on our last night but that was due to booking the extra night once we arrived.

Liked: When you enter you feel the athmosphere of an andalusian house (beautiful tiles on the walls). My room was quite small, but had almost everything I was expected (table, chair, which are missing in many hostels, wardrobe with hangers, big comfortable bed, nice bathroom and AC). Most of the staff was very nice and helpful. Worth recommending if u have a good sense of orientation,cause a few first times I was coming back and had to wander about tiny curved streets to find it - a good point to explore the city though. Finally, good value for the price

Disliked: First of all, very difficult to find (neither a map nor most of the people working at plaza encarnacion knew about the street where the hostel is located). Another minus was that my room was dark, cause the window gave on the hall when everybody was passing, so the curtains had to be covered. I also missed a radio.

Liked: we booked 2 nights for this hostel, then our flight was delayed. we called 24 hours before our stay to cancel the 1st night, the staff said okay. When we arrived the next morning to check in, there was no room for us (which means our 1st night WAS cancelled, and they didn't keep the room for us.) . However we were asked to pay 2 nights instead of 1, the staff can't explain the reason, just ask us to pay first and then talk to the boss who's said to show up the next morning. Next morning, the boss didn't show up, and another staff just ask us to email them later to talk about this issue. and our email is never replied....

Liked: Good clean room, fresh towels and linen everyday, and in a nice quite location with good bars in the vicinity. The traditional courtyard (covered) layout meant that noises in the lobby could be heard in the rooms if you had nothing better to do than listen out for them. Good hotel at the price and location, and staff pleasant.

Liked: this place is appalling, staff are surly. the hot water when available is one minute only. internet rarely works, beds are lumpy and rock hard, and then there are the mosquitos. the worst place we have stayed in and that includes outback China

Liked: It is quite hidden, but once you get to know the location, it is a great point. The Wi-Fi is not yet in the rooms, but I guess this will be fixed.Well, it is not a 5* hotel, but it is ok for spending some time in the city.

Liked: Nice location, close to everything. The hostal is in a very small street near to Plaza de la Encarnación. Not easy to find, but it's surely worth for value. It's a quiet place, and the rooms are clean. The staff isn't very friendly, but that's because they don't know other languages except spanish.

Liked: located in plaza encarnation close to the bus station and walking distance to the cathedral and main sights in seville. it is a typical andalusi design house where the rooms all face the courtyard which is used as a reception. drawback it can be noisy if people come/go late hours and are talking loud
