Liked: location

Disliked: old room with old furniture. Beds unconfortable. Bedroom next to the reception (very noisy) expensive for the service

Liked: The private double we stayed in was a really nice, large room. I loved the character of the building with it's central hallway and the room was big with a high ceiling. We arrived really late (10:30) but this was no problem, and the staff were very helpful (though this was with my Spanish g/f - I'm not sure about speaking English). Recommended.

Disliked: A previous occupant had clearly been smoking in the room before us - a smell I strongly dislike.

Liked: The inside of the hostel does have some charm, and as we booked a private room, although small, it had some flair. The staff were nice, and were really not the source of any dissatisfaction. The location isn´t bad, just not great. The price isn´t too bad, so complaints shouldn´t be taken too extremely. I enjoyed having my own sink in the room.

Disliked: As an exsmoker, I find it hard to really hold this as a huge dissatisfaction, however, if you are someone who doesn´t like the smell of smoke, then this hostel is not for you. Its not quite a stench, more between an atmosphere to an odor, but definetely pervasive. I believe I even saw some ashtrays. That said, its very smoke friendly ' so maybe a huge plus for you! The room we had, though well priced, was very small, perhaps on the claustrophobic side. The showers were fine, but very small, with no holder for the detachable showerhead, which makes things more inconvenient. You have to leave your key everytime you leave, which is fine, just not neccesarily convenient, if you have to wait for someone. The location is not great, near downtown, but lacking some charm as far as the high amount of charm seville has. This is not a place to meet people probably, it has the atmosphere of a brothel kind of, not saying it is, or trying to suggest that, but its kind of cool in that way actually, just a little gloomy maybe like it might be haunted(by dead prostitutes?) All kidding aside, its just not the best hostel experience I´ve had, but far from the worst.

Liked: This is was a friendly place to stay, despite no English being spoken and my having no Spanish. Only 5mins walk from the Cathedral so is a great location for seeing the sights and was quiet despite being surounded by good popular bars. I would certainly look to use Hostel Pino on my next trip back.

Liked: eventhoguh it was stated on the web that there was internet, there was no internet! our room was almost in the reception, we could here everything goin on! and you can not pay with credit card, cash only! but not a bad place to stay..

Liked: Hostel Pino was generally good. There were MANY stairs to climb, and the staff was not overly helpful, however, they dealt with maintenance problems quickly and the room was very nice.

Liked: The bathroom was ok. However, it was incredibly noisy both from inside and outside and we had to wait to be served a lot, or even go to the staff´s private area to look for someone to attend to us (and I speak Spanish fluently, it wasn´t a language difficulty).

Liked: location. We initially requested for a quadruple room which is cheaper than twin-sharing bedroom. However upon checking in we were actually given twin-sharing rooms but at the price quadruple, so i was really value for money!
