Liked: Samay is a well-run hostel, and you can tell that it has been designed with backpackers in mind. Everything is clean, and the bathroom was huge. Security is excellent, and the computerized locks on the personal lockers are a nice touch. The rooftop is a nice place to hang out after a long hot day in Seville.

Disliked: Computers barely worked since the browsers kept crashing for some reason. Lockers are only large enough for a personal backpack. 2.50 charge for breakfast seems unnecessary. The paella dinner was fun, but it was 90% rice.

Liked: Location, staff.

Disliked: The rooms are so white, looks like a operation room. Didn't like it at all! It's a personal taste ofcourse but no atmosphere what so ever.

Liked: Our twin room was very fresh and clean with really comfortable beds and a very good shower. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very firedly staff and great activites organised by the hostel. Loved the pub crawl!

Disliked: Feels a bit corporate with all the rules - even if clearly set up for travellers' benefit.

Liked: Very very clean and neat!

Disliked: Noise, for lot's of rooms facing the busy road, windows are low noise protected spite of the bad location.

Liked: Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Customer service was very good.

Disliked: Although it did not affect me, it seemed strange that others had to move beds during a 2 or 3 days stay.

Liked: It was quiet and in a great location.

Disliked: Our apartment had no kitchen facility and we were not allowed to take anything from the kitchen to our room. It had no member of staff - so in an emergency we would have had to go outside to the main building.

Liked: It's very clean, and the staff very helpful...besides that, it's in a great location, you can walk to the principals sightseeing.

Disliked: I think is a little bit noisy.

Liked: The staff at the hostel were wonderful & very friendly. The location of the hostel is perfect for exploring Seville, everything seems to be on it´s doorstep. We stayed in a private twin room & it was lovely, very clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend & return.

Liked: There was nothing to like about being sent to a block of flats across the street.

Disliked: We did not like the fact that, we were sold a double room with ensuite bathroom, then when we got there we were sent to a block of flats across the street to a twin room , with shared bathroom, the showers had see through doors and there were men walking around naked, and using the toilets making bad smells which was upsetting some of the other guests.

Liked: due to renovation we got upgraded to a private room no private bathroom from a shared room private bathroom.

Liked: The location was great, the hostel was very clean, and the rooftop is great to hang out and meet new people. The staff is super friendly - especially Juan at the reception was great! He had great recommendations for restaurants and bars and also really helped me out find another place to stay since Samay was fully booked for my last night in Seville. Would go back any time!!

Liked: Excellent experience all around!!! We never wanted to leave :) Great social environment. Easy to meet people through the tours! The tours were fun.

Disliked: The lock on the door to the entrance of the aparments not directly connected to hostel was very difficult to open. If the lock is to stay for much longer, please also indicate on sign to turn key to the RIGHT!!!
