Liked: Beautiful clean rooms right in the centre of Seville. Very cheap for ensuite private rooms. Only problems: no lift and if you want the air conditioning on you must ask for a remote control at reception.

Liked: The location is great!!! That is always our first priority when searching for lodging while traveling. The Van Gogh is literally 50 steps from the Alcazar entrance gate (we counted). It is also less than one minute from the cathedral. Our room was small, but that does not matter to us. If you want a clean room for a good price in a great location, this is your place.

Liked: a top location, in the hart of the 'barrio Santa Cruz, nearby all the important things to do and see. Friendly staff.What we didn't like was the rumour in the hostel: people slamming doors, shouting at eachother in the hallway at midnight. I understand that a hostel can't choose its guests, but they could advise them to act less noisy.

Liked: The hostal is a friendly place to stay in characteristic Sevillian style. Rooms are small but light and clean and very well kept. It is located in the tourist centre of Sevilla at ca. 100 meters from the Alcazar-palace, the cathedral and Giraldi tower, and close to the busy Calle Mateos Gago with it’s lively bodega’s and tapas-bars.

Liked: It felt like a hotel rather than a hostel - we had housekeeping service. Also the decor was traditional and lovely. An amazing location right in the centre of town.

Liked: very pretty, good location, our room had a great view.one comment - two rooms on each floor had NO WINDOW at all. very claustraphobic. should be mentioned up front.

Liked: This hostel was in an ideal location for sightseeing around Seville and was spotlessly clean with good, friendly service, which was exactly what we wanted. It's true there weren't many services on offer eg restaurants, but this wasn't necessary, as there was so much available nearby

Liked: The location was incredible - right near the catedral. It was Semana Santa so rates were pretty high, but that's to be expected. My room was incredibly small and faced inside (no sunlight), and the bathroom was ridiculously tiny, it was a little noisy but all in all fine.
