Liked: The guy was really nice and he helped me. The Location is really good because it is right on the beach and also just 20 minutes from the city centre (walking). And Santander is simply beautiful!

Liked: The hostel does need a bit of work and is a bit out of town but Lucio makes you feel extremely welcome and will go out of his way to help you. Well worth staying

Liked: Es muy comodo, muy limpio, a orillas de la playa. Las duchas y el aseo estan muy limpios. Tiene WIFI. No incluye desayuno , pero por el precio esta muy bueno. Lo recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera unas vacaciones a orillas del mar a bajo costo.

Liked: The staff was great. A really nice Peruvian man was on duty, and he got out heaters for people in the wind, was always good in terms of disposition, and even told me I could check out as late as I wanted, since they had no reservations for the room.It's also easy to get to without taking a taxi. Take the number four bus from between the bus and train station and it drops you off right in front of the hostel (the stop before Magdalena). The hostel is basic, though. No kitchen, but wifi is included and it's on the beach (though the weather isn't always perfect, evidently...)

Liked: The fact that it is close to the beach but only good when the weather is nice! Otherwise you do have to get bus quite often to head into the centre as there is nothing else up that end of Santander. Most of all very friendly staff and clean.

Liked: Sehr schöne lage! konnten sogar ohne probleme noch eine nacht verlängern und sogar bis nachmittags am abreisetag in unseren zimmern bleiben und duschen!Perfekt zum entspannen! Abends kann man gemütlich am meer sitzen und aufgeweckt wird man von den wellen :)

Liked: The hostel is directly situated on the beach, an experience! I had a room from which I could look to the sea. While being in bed I could hear the waves. The room was a bit small for six people but lucky me, there was no one else staying. Unfortunately there was no kitchen available.

Liked: The situation was great. It's right on the beach as it says. I guess we were not there during high-season (end of may), but we were 3 people having a room for 6 on our own (with a key). Also, since we were not in Santander to hang out at the hostel, this was great for us. I think for 14 Euros a night, this is well worth it. It's just a walk of 15 minutes to the city center, and the walk is by the beach, so who could complain....

Liked: The location is superb though with a peaceful sound of the waves during night. Nice place to meet people in the shared (TV) room

Liked: The accomodation was quite good. Lucio the attendant was as helpful beyond the call of duty sometimes, but was being hekp by his superiors making (at a time of grave need of people staying because of the volcanic) things much much more difficult not allowing the internet to be used. The nearest Internet cafe was about half an hours walk at top speed. The occupants were very very woried but he did not care. Lucio tried his best but was given no leeway to help. Re His boss. Shame Shame on him.
