Liked: Proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops
Disliked: Very noisy in hallways and bedroom to bedroom. No real division between family's personal living space and pensione space.

Liked: The place was well located between the two major beaches in San Sebastian. The room was clean and the bathrooms nice. However, I did not enjoy my stay. There is a kitchen, however, guests are not allowed to use it. I was met with a disapproving tone when I asked to use a bottle opener for a bottle of Spanish Red. I felt generally uncomfortable around the owner, as if he grudgingly permitted my girlfriend and I to stay rather than was glad for our business. If you want a pleasant atmosphere or a place to enjoy food or drink, then I recommend another hostel. If you want simple a bed and bathroom, then the place is acceptable.
