Customer reviewWatch out: Russian dictatorship in Donostia!! Unexpected behaviour and very strict rules like if you were in the army!! Of course I respect rules to keep the place quiet, clean and safe for everyone, but this was just way too much!! The location is perfect, but beaware of the building site just in front of the hostel which is not mentioned anywhere on the www. Do not expect any sea-view, but the sea is just a few steps away. Perfectly clean and safe, but boring rules to respect like nowhere else on holidays!! After begging, I was let to leave the luggage during the day, but when I came to pick it up, I was not let to use the wc, horrible!! So, do not expect to be warmly welcomed, you will rather meet dictatorship by Russians in the center of beautiful San Sebastian! |

Catherine BurneyIt was easy to walk from the Train Station and right across the road from the Beach. Close to all amenities and a quiet location. I would recomend it to others. Kitchen facilities was a bonus for those on a budget. |

LAURA TAYLORThis was possibly the most clean place i have ever stayed in! The lady did my washing for free and was always cleaning. The only annoying thing is there is construction going on outside so it was a little noisy while that was going on... |

Customer reviewIt was clean, near the ocean, internet, and very usable kitchen. The lady was a clean freak, kitchen closed early, and she treated you like you were impinging on her space sometimes. This was a small price to pay considering all of the positives. It still was a bit strange to have no showers or kitchen use past 9:30. |

Customer reviewLau Buru was a fantastic place to stay. The property is spotlessly clean and the owners very helpful despite their limited english. The hostel is only a 2 minute walk from the beach and many rooms have a view of the ocean. The old town is only a 5 minute walk away and the train station 10 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are very modern. It was not an issue for us, but some may find the fact the shower and kitchen can not be used after 2130 each day a hassle. This property is not good if you want to party or meet fellow travellers. It is a very quiet relaxing place to stay. We would highly recommend it. |

George BradleyThis place was great. I highly recamend staying here. The entire place is spotless, you can see the bay from the balcony, free wifi, and the owners are the nicest people. Also the woman, we called her Nana, made pancakes and did our laundry. We are from Califonia and were traveling all over Europe for a month, and this was by far the most memorable place we stayed. Stay here. |

Jessica Moorethis place was adorable, the owners were the nicest people ever! it is right on the main beach and such a close walk to the surf beach and the old town... alex is fantastic and the lady is adorable always cleaning and doing your washing for free!!!! |

Customer reviewI am not sure this is the best place for backpackers as you are not allowed to use the kitchen to cook incase it gets crowded?? and you can not leave you bags there once you have checked out. The owners are constanly cleaning, you feel in the way of them. (Can't fault how clean it is though). No atmosphere. Awesome location though and if you after a very quiet peaceful place to stay then maybe this is it. |
