Liked: The staff were great, very helpful. Bathrooms, kitchen and entire place very clean. Rooms a good size. Good location, right on the beach and everything is in walking distance. Food and shopping near by, as well as tourist attractions. Good value for money.

Disliked: Only small complaint would be better signage is needed to find the place. Walked past it about 10 times before realising!

Liked: Best hostel we stayed in the country! Very clean! Very friendly and helpful staff!

Disliked: Room was noisy from traffic in the morning.

Liked: Good location, clean (however see negative comments). Nice view of the beach from balcony (although could do with some chairs to sit out there and enjoy it!) Kitchen, Elevator to floor which is good.

Disliked: The owners mother, who pretty much runs the building, does all the cleaning is rediculous. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hostel. She makes you feel as if you are on egg shells constantly. I cooked dinner and had a wooden spoon sitting in the sink and she came in and huffed and washed it up while I ate. I also had the lights turned off while i was eating my breakfast. Silly rules about not being able to use shower ot kitchen after 9:30. It just isn't a comfortable place to stay. Plus the beds are squeeky.

Liked: LOCATION! Its very clean and the facilities are good. Not heaps of people here too, so if your looking for a party stay somewhere else.

Liked: It is close to the beach, just across the street. The Old Town is not so far away, too. If you want to cook your own food you can use the kitchen there, it is cleaned every day.

Liked: I stayed here for 4 nights in a shared room, and really enjoyed it. The hostel location is fantastic, very central, right by the old part and by La Concha beach. Inside, I found it very clean, well maintained, good bathrooms, and it was quiet at night time too. The guy who introduced me and showed around was very friendly - I would recommend this place.

Disliked: There are no lockers, but the hostel is a pretty safe place I think.

Liked: The staff/owner were really friendly, the owners mother even made me a cup of hot chocolate. The Hostel is located along the beach and i had a great view from my room on the balcony. The hostel was also very clean.

Disliked: There are no lockers in the rooms but it seems to be a safe place. It is very quiet in the hostel and is hard to meet people so not ideal if you're travelling alone.

Liked: It is located in the city centre of San Sebastian, so it is very convient. Also it clean and very quiet at nights.

Disliked: I think it was overpriced, because the rooms are not ensuit.

Liked: It is in an excellent location and definately not a party hostel - I like to sleep when I return and even in a dorm I got that!

Disliked: It was booked for the following night when I wanted to stay - to damn popular!

Liked: Super clean and tidy - great location in between the two beaches... easy to walk to either.

Disliked: Definitely not a party hostel - we weren't looking for one though so it didn't bother me... just felt a bit guilty when we stumble in drunk!

Liked: Closeness to the important things and the very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean.

Liked: Great location opposite the beach and close to the old town, the owner was very friendly, spotlessly clean.

Liked: The bathroom and kitchen were always immaculate and the room was big and clean. The location was perfect as it was not in old town so it wasn't too noisy but close enough to wander there for dinner, drinks and shopping. The guy that checked us in was lovely and really helpful. Would recommend this place 100% to anyone who is looking for somewhere cheap, clean and quiet (fiestas not allowed)

Liked: The owner was great, the location was great and the place was soooooo clean and nice!

Disliked: It would be nice with a locker to put you passport and computer in - but nothing bad happened while I was there. People were great - I just think it would be nice.

Liked: Location and staff were amazing.

Liked: 1 - Location, location, location. Right on the main beach, next to downtown cental and 3 blocks from the Old City. 2- They keep the place quite clean. 3 - The kitchen is simple but adequate.

Disliked: 1 - no lockers of any sort. The landlady is Russian and doesn´t understand either English nor much Spanish, if her son -- the manager -- is there, he is very functional in all of these. However, I asked her to hold my telephone and passport and she got terrified that I was accusing her of theft. It was unpleasant and they refused to hold these items, despirt the fact that I was sharing a room with 5 strangers and couldn´t take these things to the beach. The good news (which they didn´t tell me and may not know) is that there is a locker service at the beach! This was a big relief to me. 2 - The room was big enough, but has no furniture but 4 bunkbeds and a small armoir. The private rooms have queen-sized beds and closets. The bathrooms have no shelves to put things on while washing up. 3 - The room has a faintly unpleasant odor. I got used to it, if I was able to keep the window open, but it bothered me at first and some of the roommates or the landlady closed the window and I had to keep opening it.
