Liked: Location. If you would like a quiet nights rest, then THIS IS THE PLACE. Owners do NOT like any noise or disturbance to their place. Alex gives a good layout map of the city and tips on where to go (if he is not mad at you).

Disliked: We arrived in the morning and got yelled at because people let us in and Alex thought we broke in. He said 'you not normal' because we didn't get a chance to ring the doorbell because people were exiting when we were at the front door. This place was clean, but at the expense of not feeling comfortable enough to live in the place. The cleaning lady followed me to the bathroom to clean it after I was done and the showers close after 9:30...apparently late night showers are NOT acceptable.

Liked: I really like the location. Right next to the beach in a nice building. The rooms where big and everything was clean. Loved the view from the window. The staff where nice people and everybody was nice and respectful. No parties in the hostel was nice for having a good sleep. Met great friends in the hostel.

Disliked: No complains.

Liked: Very clean, and very spacious rooms

Liked: Central location, clean shared bathroom, free Internet facilities.

Disliked: Mouldy smell in room due to poor ventilation, temperamental staff that could use a lesson or two in anger management. Overall poor value considering the cost, regret not paying the small premium for a hotel room.

Liked: This is a great place to stay. As a young couple it was clean, had a beautiful balcony view of the beach. Lots of room. Really one of the nicest places I have stayed. However I would not recommend for groups of kids traveling or want to party. They really do try to keep things quiet and low key at night. But for couples or non-partyers this is great great place!!!!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I really liked the location that is really near to the beach, and the cleanliness.

Disliked: This is a shared flat so you don't have to do noise after 10pm otherwise you get the owner really angry .

Liked: It was extremely clean, spacious and in the perfect location.

Disliked: It felt a little bit like staying at your granmothers house as it was very quiet during the stay and the lady who worked there was constantly cleaning.

Liked: Probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.The location is right on the water front and above a lovely restaurant that does good breakfast.Alex and his mother run the place and are very helpful. He welcomed me with a smile and immediately explained everything, as well as handing me a map of the area and recommending some good things to doThe rooms are spacious and comfortable, mine had a great view of the beach.There is also a well equipped kitchen, free WIFI and a computer to use.They provide towels, and were more than happy to look after my passport and tickets,

Disliked: I have no dislikes about this place. I should mention that Alex and his mother appear to be proud of their reputation and therefore have a couple of rules. They like calm, tidy people who pay promptly! If you respect them they will return the favour with fantastic hospitality.

Liked: The location was excellent, just a two minute walk from the beach and right next to the main shopping road and great little restaurant. Bathrooms very clean.

Disliked: The rooms were a little old and tired looking, though very clean. The internet was not working most the time we were staying, and there was an annoying light in the hall that kept turning on every time someone walked past at all hours of the night.

Liked: The location is perfect for bar hopping around the old town and the view of the beach from the balcony is spectacular. a great place to stay.

Disliked: Parking is not ideal but there are plenty of underground garages near so wasn't a problem.

Liked: extremely (!!) clean and nice property! bathroom and kitchen very nice, spacy and clean! (we also stayed at urban surf in san sebastian, which was also 27 euros/night - but rather gross and dirty, but much more of a party hostel)the location is great, right next to la concha beach and in walking distance to the old part of the city and zurriola beach. alex, the owner of the hostel is supernice, he is very welcoming and will tell you anything important to know about the city - but what we assumed was his mother was cleaning after us like a maniac, but she was also nice. you really get a lot for your money.

Disliked: not the place to go if you're looking for a party hostel! party is not allowed and it's really calm in the hostel after 22:00 - which is nice, becaue you can go out but when you come home you can actually sleep. no warm water after 21:30...

Liked: Great location near the old town and the main beach, both really walkable. Nicely done up rooms. I liked that it was a hostel where you had to be quiet after 10pm so you could try and sleep!

Disliked: All of the rooms (about 5?) were sharing the one bathroom, which was made even worse by the fact that were was no separate toilet.

Liked: the hostel was very clean, good location. would definitely stay there again. dorm rooms were spacious.there is also access to a free computer with internet.

Disliked: not much in terms of security, oven didnt work, and you wernt allowed to use the washing machine in the kitchen.. water pressure was terrible.
