Liked: The hostel is close to the beaches and is in the middle of the Old Town, which is really handy for bars and restaurants.

Disliked: Only two showers/toilets for up to 22 people meant that you needed to get up early or else be prepared to wait for a while to use the facilities.

Liked: We have been waken up in the middle of the night by the lady in charge because she was shouting after a person that lost his key. This is completely unexcusable to shout such a way in the middle of the night.

Liked: the location was great. However the reception was rarely there and the security was poor; there weren't any locks on the doors to the rooms. Also the staff had the habit of moving things off your bed and even moving your bags to different rooms without notifying you, and in our case giving away our towel. Also the 8 bed dorm is really like a 16 bed dorm since there is just a curtain separating the 2 rooms. the price doesn't reflect the value of the stay. Also, the sheets and bedding smelled very bad ( in a urine-like way) very gross.

Liked: One of the nights that we stayed there was a group of rowdy guys who had come in from a night of drinking. They started to puke all over their hostal room. There are signs posted throughout the hostal that it is not a party hostal and pukers will be fined. I was impressed that this was followed through with and that these guys were indeed fined quite a bit for their damage done. In addition, this place was in a great location!

Liked: The owner Paul is incredibly kind and friendly. He was so nice that i felt the urge to give him a gift to say thanks for having us. We really felt at ease her and very welcome.

Liked: Helpful guy who runs it with lots of useful info. Kitchen, free lockers, towels, comfy beds and duvets. Only 2 bathrooms which can mean queues if everyone gets up at the same time. Nice and cheap and cheerful though so would definitely recommend it. Not a party hostel so don't stay here if you're looking for that. Great place to spend a few nights though.

Liked: Perfect location for exploring San Sebastian and really easy to find from the bus terminal, just 15 minutes walk. The staff were really helpful. I would stay here again. There are restaurants, bars, shops and banks right on the doorstep and it´s just in the heart the old town and 2 minutes by walk to the beach.

Liked: Awesome location, but i felt like I was sleeping in a dirty bed the whole time. They should also invest in some new towels because everything smells like an old wetsuit.

Liked: Simply Amazing!,The staff were fantastic, answered all the questions I had and very welcoming, probably the best I have stayed at. The location was perfec.They have a profecional australian surf instructor resident in san sebastian and also have a surf local in front of the zurriola beach and you can rent a boards and wetsuit for very reasonable rates,this is true.Next time san sebastian I will stay there once again.LOVE THIS PLACE...

Liked: It's a small familiar hostel, so you'll know the people staying there with you after one day. In our case it was a really cool bunch of people and we even went out together at night or to the beach in the afternoon! :-)The location of the hostel is great, really couldn't be better! The staff was friendly, sometimes we felt like they were a bit unflexible.

Liked: Location of this place is awesome, in the centre of nightlife and also balconies look over a big square which is always busy. Rooms are tiny, no common room, but u can sit in the kitchen til 11pm. This hostel is very homey, and it is awesome to meet people. HIGHLY recommend staying here.
