Liked: this is the best and nicest hostel i have ever stayed at. the rooms were pretty and very personal, the bathrooms were extremely clean and the staff was more than friendly and helpful, although they didnt speak english. the location was great and not noisy at all. i would fully recommend this hostel to any travellers!

Disliked: it was a little hard to communicate with the owner because he didnt speak english at all but nevertheless it worked out.

Liked: Very simple and clean accommodations. Our rooms always smelled fresh and had clean towels daily. Susan was was very friendly and eager to recommend restaurants and things to do. Bathrooms were larges and well appointed. And the location is great! Being at the end of Parte Vieja makes for a great starting point to start your Pintxo Crawl! I'll stop by here again on my next trip to beautiful San Sebastian!

Disliked: No common kitchen area.

Liked: The accommodation was great - clean and well serviced. The staff were incredibly honest. The location is very central and in the heart of the atmospheric part of the city.

Disliked: The owners don't speak English which made it quite awkward.

Liked: Bathrooms were clean and spacious, there were 3 of them so no queues, great location with good food right on the same street, wifi available, privacy (private rooms) and walls were not too thin!

Disliked: Might want to check google maps for the location prior to arrival as instructions are not too clear- once u find it on the map, it's really easy!

Liked: Our stay was very pleasant. Everything was clean, there was only one other room occupied on our floor so we had the entire place to ourselves. It is in a good location and where our room was located we didn't hear much noise.

Disliked: At the end when I wanted to pay with a debit card, the machine didn't work.

Liked: Good location, nice bathrooms (although shared) and friendly and helpful staff (up to a point).

Disliked: The property is two floors up, and is only accessible via a narrow staircase. We had a large amount of luggage with us (for subsequent trips) and it wasnt easy getting it upstairs.

Liked: The lady was lovely - lıttle englısh tho. but even helped us get accom the extra nıght when was all full and carry our stuff ın the raın!!! extremely clean nıce bathrooms - balcony off room. no common area - so not best to meet new ppl but we loved ıt all the same!!! perfect locatıon ın the old town bıt. easy to get to from bus statıon

Liked: The place is spotless and they make up your room each day. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Disliked: They state that they offer luggage storage in their overview but they do not unfortunately. We had to pay to store our luggage at an internet cafe nearby when we were catching a late train out of town.

Liked: Location was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The bathrooms were shared but were very clean and very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: It was so clean and truly Spanish. The owners were very friendly and helpful; it is more of a hotel than a hostel, it was quiet and I had lots of privacy. I would definitely stay here again!

Liked: The hosts were lovely and extremely welcoming. The location was fantastic with plenty of bars and Tapas bars in the area. A great place to stay.

Disliked: Shared bathrooms, however they are always clean and always available to use.

Liked: I stayed upstairs and it was heaven! The halls, rooms, bathrooms were all immaculately clean and smelled amazing ALL the time! The couple in charge didn't speak any english but were so friendly and sweet! Location is also great, super close to bars/restaurants and the beautiful beach!

Liked: Nice rooms and really clean. great location. near both beaches and the jesus on the hill.

Disliked: reception not 24hrs. needed to call and wait for check in even in the afternoon.

Liked: It was a fantastic place to stay. The guest house is lovely with modern decor and bathrooms - we were really impressed. The location is great and Susanna who runs the guest house was really helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend it.

Liked: Shared bathrooms were clean

Disliked: When we got to the hostel in the old town, there was a number we had to call on the door. I rang up and a lady speaking very poor English arrives, tells us we are booked in "Ibai 2" around the corner. Around the corner turned out to be 2 miles away in a different part of the city, where we had to walk with our heavy luggage with this woman. "Ibai 2" turned out to be a flat with permanent residents and a kitchen that seems to be their hostel businesses's main laundry room - a washing machine on all day long. With paper walls in the room, this is no place for light sleepers - even with ear plugs. Accommodation was way over prized. Normally from this standard of accommodation has been around 25 e per night. This was around 37 (per person). Also, note that bathrooms are shared here, even though it is not easy to spot when you book at Hostelbookers site.

Liked: Clean room & bathrooms, good location in the old part of San Sebastian.

Disliked: Very noisy building all through the night & day, many people coming and going, walls are very thin. Room was small and dark, no view. Expensive for what you get. Rate per night was more expensive when we changed to one night less (which we organised before we arrived).
