Liked: Clean place to stay. Centrally located.

Disliked: Very noisy if you have a room on the side of the San Lorenzo street. Quite expensive.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful owners. The facilities were always clean and the room was nice facing the street. Location is amazing right in the centre of the old town. I would not hesitate in reccomending this as one of the better places to stay. However it is a shared bathroom and in busier seasons you can wait a bit for the shower. There is also no common area. But overall I would stay there again as the old town has alot to offer.

Liked: I read somewhere that pensiones are very basic, may lack heating and even external windows, but on the other hand are loveingly cared for. This is an apt description for the Loinaz Pension. I stayed in 2 different rooms in 2 different buildings at Pension Loinaz, both were immaculately clean (bathrooms and bedrooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels provided daily and there was hotwater all day every day). In both buildings the bathroom is shared between 3, the second bathroom was newly tiled and had a power shower and of a higher standard of the first (the first although had a good shower, the window should have contained 2 windows, but only contained 1!). The owners (who of whom spoke English) were very friendly and considerate (the reason we were moved is that my friend injured her knee and had difficulty with stairs, without prompting, the owner moved us to the other room which had a lift). His consideration was much appreciated.Location is great - central and near to beach. Felt safe staying there on my own for first few days. Pension comes highly recommended.

Liked: Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and new. Location couldn't be better - right in the middle of the old town. Nice staff, good price.

Liked: The room was spacious and VERY clean. The bathrooms were newly renovated and the shower and other facilities worked great. The location was very good, right in the heart of the old town district, and 2-3 minutes walk from shops and the beach.

Liked: The Hostel itself was very charming and lovely. It was like staying in someone's house. And more important than just that, given the friendliness and helpfulness of the managers, it felt like you were staying at a friends house! Delightlful location - we're just looking forward to coming back! It was great for us to 2 adults and our 2 fifteen year olds!!
