Liked: Liked the location and property was clean.

Disliked: Thin walls so that you hear quite a lot of the noises other people make on the hall and using the bathrooms.

Liked: The location is right in de the middle of the old town. It has 2 bathrooms and just a few rooms. The service and quality is very good. I will recommend the place to a few other people.

Disliked: It is on the second floor without a lift, it is a bit noisy (you here other people entering and leaving the property) and most rooms have a bed on top of eache other.

Liked: Location was good - close to the old city.

Disliked: The staff were very rude and unhelpful. They argued with us about leaving our bags in our friend's room after we checked out and they wree staying an extra night. They did not tell us the check out time and then were cross when we did not leave the room after a 1 minute warning. It felt hostile and I didn't enjoy being there.

Liked: Great location. Very nice and clean rooms.

Disliked: It is a bit hard to communicate with the staff if you don't know spanish, although they are also really nice.

Disliked: Lot of noise outside. No luggage room. Nothing but rooms and toilets actually.

Liked: Really comfortable, clean rooms. Only hostel i've been to where sheets and towels are changed daily, and that's a really nice touch. Good strong hot showers too.

Disliked: I wouldn't stay here if you want to meet loads of people and party in the hostel. But it's a great spot to come back to after partying in the actual town.

Liked: Great location! Rooms are totally fine! And bathrooms were always clean. They even kept our baggage until late afternoon w/o extra charge. Hotel made our stay perfect!

Disliked: Some baby bugs in the bathroom, and a cigarette on the ground but that was surely one of the guests. It has been cleaned right away by the staff.

Liked: Very friendly staff, late check in was no problem. the room was cosy and comfortabel and although it is located in the middle of the party and shopping hot spot, it was relatively quiet.

Disliked: No kitchen

Liked: It's in an awesome spot right where the action is, very clean rooms made everyday, fresh towels everyday, bathrooms cleaned everyday, very modern rooms, friendly staff,

Disliked: We had some loud guests staying with us slamming doors and that got real loud. They have nice thick doors on the balcony and it does block out 90% of the noise from outside but you can still hear it a little.

Liked: This place was perfect for what we were looking for, but it's not for everyone. It is very much a guest house - just a few rooms (ours was a double) and a few bathrooms. No common area at all. This was ok because it was what we wanted but unless you're travelling with your partner it probably won't be very fun. The location is amazing - right in the centre of the old town, a few minutes walk to everything good in San Sebastian. The bathrooms are huge and spotlessly clean. And the showers are really nice. The rooms too are really nice looking and have little balconies that look out onto the street.

Disliked: If you want to meet people while staying in San Sebastian DO NOT STAY HERE. You only have your room and your bathroom. The guy who runs the place is not there all the time so if you want to check in or out make sure you are there at the time you have specified. It also means you cannot store your luggage all day because if he's not there you can't get in the front door.

Liked: Very clean (bed made and clean sheets every day), lovely decor (ceiling beams, big bathrooms), owner was friendly even though he spoke very little English.

Disliked: Would have been hard to find if the owner hadn't been in the tapas bar downstairs and noticed us looking lost!!!

Liked: Very clean - bathrooms cleaned meticulously every day, as well as sheets in your room. Cute window balconies to let in the breeze and see the streets of Parte Viejo.

Disliked: They sprayed this nasty smelling stuff in the halls and bedrooms every afternoon. The can said Raid (the bug spray), so that was pretty unsettling. There was a ticking noise I could hear at night used for the outdoor lights that you cannot turn off, plus you could hear street noise constantly (goes with the territory I suppose). Also, the Wifi password was incorrect on the back of the door, so we were unable to use internet for most of the trip and the owner/manager kicked us out at 11am when we just wanted to use the internet. There is no common room - just bedrooms and bathrooms along one hallway.

Disliked: Wireless was not working during my stay. The stuff spoke little English.

Liked: It was a clean hotel in a great location. The manager was very friendly and helpful but I only spoke with him in Spanish, I'm not sure whether he speaks English or not.

Disliked: The directions - take the advice of other guests and look at a map before travelling. When it advises to turn right when you come out of the station it fails to mention turn right after crossing the road and the bridge over the river first. They don't have a luggage holding room either so I had to pay €0.50 an hour to leave my case in an internet cafe that holds luggage but shuts for siesta (between 14:00 and 16:00).

Liked: Great location, super clean rooms, beautiful little balconies off rooms, very clean amenities. We were so happy with the place... after we found it!

Disliked: Very hard to find.
