Liked: It is very clean, confortable and the situation is perfect.

Disliked: We tried to change our reservation because we booked for five people but finally we travelled four. The manager was not clear at all. We did not know the final price till our arrival.

Liked: The owner was very nice! He likes to help us, even we can understand Spanish only a little. Also the bathrooms were clean. I recommend this hostel.

Liked: It was well located, really clean and the servics was quite good.

Disliked: we had only one problem which was the heating system. If it is summer than no problem. We definitely reccomend this place.

Liked: Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Constant scent of clean laundry. Bright and warm.

Disliked: There wasn't a good place to store our bags during the day after we had checked out (a service we've been lucky to find at all other hostels where we've slept in Europe).

Liked: The owner was very friendly and helpful. Good location, very close to both beaches. Security was a priority for me, and I felt safe during my stay.

Disliked: It was rather difficult to find. Check out a map before coming to San Sebastian as San Jeronimo isn't a large street, but if you can find your way to la Parte Vieja, friendly locals will guide you in. :)

Liked: Location was great, room had a balcony which was a bonus. Good wifi too.

Disliked: Directions on hostelbookers are really bad. Hard to find even when your right in front of it.

Liked: It was clean and the location is good if you like to be in a very busy street were a lot of bars and cafes are.

Disliked: Very small rooms and the owner does not speak any English. At night it can be very noisy outside, because of people passing in the street. There was a tv, but only two channels worked (and even these channels were from bad quality). Furthermore there was no water for 4 hours, but the owner could not explain the reason, because he did not speak English.. For 35 euros per person per night for a private room, this is not good value for money...

Liked: it's very clean and in superb location, but very basic and very small rooms (ours was 2m x 2,5 m). And if you're travelling as a couple, be aware not to book a twin room (book a double room instead) because twin room means bunk beds for us.

Disliked: The rooms were tiny and hot. No AC. One can open the windows but its too noisy outside. So its either heat or noise.

Liked: Considering it's a hostel in San Sebastian, the price was pretty good. Also, there were three bathrooms for 4 or 5 rooms, so it was never a problem using one.

Disliked: There are no common facilities, so no kitchen or fridge. One night, there was no running water in the hostel, which was a problem for anyone wanting to shower or use the washroom. The hostel staff didn't really recommend any restaurants when asked. Also, they enter your room to clean up in the middle of the day. This bugged us a bit, because we don't like having people enter our room, especially when there is no safe. Finally, the twin bedroom is actually bunk beds. There is nowhere to sit up straight in the room, which is pretty annoying after a while. And the room was quite small. Although you do get some shelves and a night stand, which helps.

Liked: The owner, Daniel, was very friendly and helpful. We had a clean room with a balcony, conveniently located in the old quarter.

Disliked: It can definitely be loud at night since people stay out drinking in the old quarter till late, so if you are a light sleeper, you might want earplugs.

Liked: The hostel owner was very nice and gave me a map upon arrival explaining all the best places to see. This hostel is very clean.

Liked: The location is perfect, the place is very clean and modern and offers some good services (free internet and tv), but there were some important problems. Bad shower, bad matress, bad pillow, no garbage bin in the bathroom, and there wasn´t any place to keep the luggage.
