Liked: Really chill hostel! The guy who runs it is really nice and will answer any questions that you have. The rooms aren't too crowded. There are safety deposit boxes for your stuff, but I felt so safe I didn't always use mine. The people who were there when I was there were really cool.

Liked: The owner Jon Brisas was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The Kaixo had a good atmosphere. The location next to the market was also very close to most important San Sebastian landmarks and only 5 minutes from the beach. The only drawback is the thin walls which a feature in most hostels in the Old Part. This means that it is quite noisy at night even when guets are doing their best to be considerate. . .

Liked: Perfect location right in the center of the Old Town, Personal safes for valuables, use of washing machine, unlimited internet access at a nearby internet cafe, comfortable beds in spacious rooms. Great owner who might show you around the local tapas bars if you´re really lucky.
