Liked: Arrived and were surprised to find that we weren't staying in the 'hostel' as advertised, but in the owner's flat's spare room! Aside from this slightly strange arrangement, excellent location, clean, and very inexpensive.

Liked: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. this place has it.. kati was sweet and helped us with everything. she's like a little grandma. senior luis misguided us on our last day bc he said that the buses wouldn't follow a holiday schedule and we had to find out the hard way that they indeed did.. so i ended up taking a cab. there's not much to this place.. a bed for you, not a bunk bed, and clean bathrooms. location is perfect in parte vieja. i didn't get any paella :( and i'm not sure that kitchen facilities are shared. breakfast not provided

Liked: It's an apartment (like most "hostels" in San Seb), could be hard to check in if the owner isn't there when you turn up. Lovely staff, kitchen is great.

Liked: I felt like I was living really spanish! the cleanliness of the bathroom was surprisingly good, better than in many common youth hostels!

Liked: we didnt stay at the hostel at all, we were taken to another place which a family had converted into some kind of summer house for travellers which was all a little strange.. Although the place was very tidy. We had our room packed up and we were moved while we werent there to accomodate 3 people that arrived. Would have been nice to get notice before she moved all of our stuff. A little strange but all in all not a bad place to stay.

Liked: One of the best hostels in all of Europe!! Katie is the BEST! She only speaks spanish, so communication can be difficult if you do not speak any spanish, but if you do speak spanish, this is by far the best place to stay. Everything was very clean and a great atmosphere. She cooked a HUGE dinner (paella) for everyone staying in the hostel and it was EXCELLENT, and free of charge! Right in the center of San Sebastian and everything is within walking distance. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Liked: Very home like and comfortable. Kati was great! Made us feel like we were right at home. She even cooked us dinner one night. We got to meet some great people from all over the place. And the balcony is great to eat dinner or just sit and read a book in the sun.

Liked: The location is outstanding, right on the main party strip and close to both beaches, internet and phone 1 min walk, and the top floor terrace is my happy place before kicking on. Hope you land good mix of people i did.
