Liked: Location and breakfast were very good. The bathroom was really clean and the room was nice.

Disliked: The staff was a little messy: they told us that the breakfast would start at 8am, but the reception only opened at 9:30am. And most of them only speaks english.

Liked: Sabrina and Josh are great - friendly, helpful and a delight to greet throughout the day. It truly is the staff who make a hostel a great place, and they were just wonderful... offered minor Spanish tutoring, invited you to go out to dinner and drinks, and told you the best places to go. The location is fantastic, and the fact that the hostel is run in an old building, with the rooms being within old apartment sectors just adds a touch of authenticity to your stay in San Sebastian. It´s beautiful.

Disliked: Charlotte left no negative feedback.

Liked: The hostel was in a great location.

Disliked: The bathrooms weren't particularly clean; there was always sand on the floor, and more than once the toilet paper ran out and was not replaced.

Liked: Very good location right next to the beach and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice facilities.

Disliked: instead of a wall there is a plastic divider which is the worst idea of all time bc light comes in from the next room.

Liked: What a party town! (Or maybe it was just who was staying there at the time.) This is a cool hostel, nice common area and the rooms are pretty good, with lockers. Good kitchen (except I think they need some more cutlery, that's a little annoying!) and boards and bikes for hire. The staff were mostly good- everyone was friendly, some people were more knowledgeable than others about what to do around san sebastian. One girl gave so much info on where to go for food, it was great! She knew her stuff.

Disliked: Hmm.. once the showers were cold because the boiler had been turned off. Cutlery is pretty short in the kitchen. COmmon area closes at 10, but that's okay because there's a lovely park right outside and it's lovely and warm at night so it's pretty nice hanging out there. Or going out out, that's fun too!

Liked: Location was great and nice staff.

Disliked: Was always dirty-bathrooms, common areas etc Didn't see a cleaner and didn't look like we'd been visited by one during the 3 days I was here.

Liked: The location. But that was it.

Disliked: it was full of tour groups. you can hear everything and everyone in the hostel. We had clear glass separating our room to the one next door so their lights would shine into our room late at night and early mornings. There were no windows at all. There were no lockers on our floor and they closed the lounge area after 10pm so we couldn't use the internet. The staff weren't friendly, helpful or interested in talking to other people except for other hostel staff. The least social hostel I've ever stayed in and one of the most expensive.

Liked: Location location location. 5 min walk to 2 beautiful beaches. Art gallery beach side, cool relaxed come-as-u-r attitude of hostel and town. Free computers.

Disliked: Bed r uncomfortable, place is noisy inside hostel and out until late.

Liked: It's close to the beachs and shops etc, about a 15mins casual hike from the train station. The staff were helpful with maps and the kitchen facilities were pretty good.

Disliked: There was only one bathroom that closed properly for a hostel accomodation up to 10+ ppl, sometimes there would be a wait or you'd have to be quick, but was never too bad. Always sand all over the shower, but comes with being so near to the beach. Our room was also right next to the bathroom so it was kinda loud at times.

Liked: Just the location.

Disliked: I pay to stay in a 3 bed dorm and they put me in a 4 bed room. The beds are old, the bathrooms are in bad shape and they need to fix the rooms. During my last day they change me to another room with out asking me and have to complaint to the front desk the manager was not there and they offer to give my money back but one of the works did want a total disorganization. Disliked: The noise and the lights on of a big group of people who woke up very early in the morning and thought they were alone in the hostel. No ventilation in the room.

Liked: Sara the girl working there was probably the most helpful hostel staff member i have ever met!!! The hostel is in a great location just 2 minutes to the beach behind the main area of the town. Nice street view. Young cool travellers, lots of things organised a great place to meet people.

Disliked: Kitchen and Bathroom weren't the cleanest.

Liked: Location was excellent.

Disliked: The bunk beds were cheap, flimsy and really uncomfortable. The place was really dirty. No atmosphere or character. The kitchen was a good size but lacked plates, glasses and other basic items.

Liked: There were several rooms on one floor so you can meet and chat to people.

Disliked: The staff are too laid back, very slow service and they will have a chat before assisting you. There were 5 people behind me waiting to get checked in!
